It’s time again to shank another pig, been 16 months since my last kill. Craving bush pig burgers again lol. Trigger finger getting itchy !! Started baiting a new spot much closer to home, still need to build a new hide. Sour corn and food scraps for the win…

I look forward to pictures of your harvest. Both grown and hunted! I live in NY and last October I took a trip with my father an a friend I served in the army with. Went to southern Texas for a feral hog hunt. Came home with over 100lbs of meat each. What a great fun trip.

I would love to be involved with Feral hog culling. I swear that’s all I would do lol. Our bush pigs here aren’t really a problem other than them damaging farm land etc. Out in the wild they fit into the ecosystem and cause no problems, and they feed the predators

Time to get the nets on these Orange Sorbet girls. Did a defol and lower clean up yesterday.

A bit torn whether to do 3 plants per net or 2 here with the remaining 6 plants??? They aren’t as big as the OS so probably will cram them in together. Gelato, Blue Cheese and Lemon Skunk…

I help with a non profit to get wounded and disabled veterans out on hunts. Been doing it nine years and it just keeps growing

That’s awesome! I shudder to think if I had to lose a limb or be disabled. Mrs Hogbud tried to take a life policy on me but the premiums were too high because I am considered " high risk" because of my lifestyle  apparently spearfishing / free diving is rated one of the most dangerous activities lol.

You just learn to adapt to your new way of life and how to do things. lol

Well at least you should feel a little safer without that bounty on your grape. Hahaha

That’s amazing! The vet friend I was with in my hunt was talking with another vet he served in Iraq with who does the same in a different part of Tx from where we went in October. Thank you for what you do for the veteran community.

I love spear fishing and free diving too! That was how I spent my down time while I was stationed in Guantanamo Bay. Some of the best times I’ve ever had while away from home.

Ol gitmo. That would have been a FUN duty station.

I love what I do. The outdoors saved my life after injury so I want to pay it forward and share with others what it did for me. Even if it means taking the stressors and the crap off your mind for a few days and hang with some good dudes or gold star families and get a taste of that camaraderie we all desperately miss. Therapy at its finest man. Thank you @Jake3 for your service and sacrifice brother. Love you man.

@Covertgrower is there a way to get an email address exchanged?

GTMO was a blast honestly. I was there during the 10 year anniversary of 9/11 and when Bin Laden was killed so tensions were a little high but I mean. Caribbean weather, ocean and my best friends??? How could I not go? Would’ve been cool if we had smoothed things over with Cuba so we could have left base but I learned a lot and grew a lot as a soldier, leader and person while there.

Couldn’t have picked a better time to be there!!!

Here’s an old pic from about 5 years ago. A week after this I was in hospital having radio frequency ablation done on my heart lol. That fish paid for my flight to Cape Town for the procedure

Switched the flower room over to 12/12 this morning. Got to scramble and neaten the girls up and get into their nets for the stretch. Going to be a fully loaded space, will also need to reconfigure the lighting set up and fans

Green crack auto is lucky I don’t have anything else in flower or it would have been put outside. Looks like it is trying to build some bud
