HLG Quantum Board problems?

I’m sure. I knew because I follow a bigger forum with a lot more people that are the type to be spending big money.

I understand the no guarantee part, thus my question.

I just ordered my second QB324 kit. This first did have the washers to prevent shorts and works very well in my 2x4 tent. Ordered another to fit out a 4x4 tent.

Nice! Quite a bit cheaper this time right?

Sadly I ordered on Saturday, and Sunday the price went down $29. It’s a hard hard world!!
Still, I love the light so not a big deal!

Bummer! Good news is you’re a step ahead with a kick ass light anyway. Will produce enough to cover cost in a single harvest, so no worries.

So guess what @dbrn32, the good folks at HLG gave me the sale price on the kit!!! Only thing better than the product is the customer service!!

I will be back for more down the road and support their business.

The QB324 is just a great light I think!

That’s awesome!

They are a pretty legit company. I just got sent a free QB 11 Red

Man that is as cool as all get out. How did you manage that??

I was talking with Robin and he offered to send me one, I was like good deal. I will see about adding it to my light.

That is a good deal! Let us/me know how it is and how it goes. Thanks!

Shit, probably the reason you can’t hardly buy them lol.

This is an interesting HLG review but may be dated; The article was updated June 22.

I don’t believe it’s all that interesting. Anyone that shopped for a qb fixture in the beginning felt that customer service pain. Their stuff was so difficult to get that people were scalping the fixtures on ebay lol.

But there’s all kinds of holes in this review. Not knowing where Robin came into the business? Meanwell is not top of the line driver, but it’s a pretty good driver at good price, and they are readily available. Imo this guy loses any credibility by recommending a philzon light or cfl’s. Hlg has definitely gone through some growing pains. But let’s not go back 20 years in grow light tech over it lol.

I thought his points were weak and not well supported. I will go back and look again; I was hoping you might find it interesting and annoying at the same time (that was my thought) lol

Don’t know why I have to get down in the weeds about this but it’s an interesting story and once I get mine built and running I’m gonna read more. I enjoy the creative process and admire people that take risks, especially in the tech field. Muy interessante

I can’t think of anyone here that got a non working light or one that failed quickly from hlg. Maybe, but I can’t recall. Their biggest deal was keeping stock. They would get a batch of boards and would be sold out in hours, then not receive more for several weeks.

Indication of good product and happy customers…

Haha absolutely the biggest ‘issue’ ive heard about HLG… :poop: their sold out again!!! :joy:
