Anybody here ever deal with HLG? I’m considering an order and would like feedback regarding customer service, shipping times etc. Help…
@dbrn32 is the light guy. Many others on here have built lights through hlg. @imSICKkid @Jbum are ones I can think of right off top of my head. They both have journals of there build with instructions as well.

They are usually pretty good if items are in stock. I’m sure there are exceptions, but very little for complaints about hlg.
I just placed an order with them yesterday, it shipped this morning. Their products always come well packaged, and if by some odd chance something is not right, they will fix it. Good company
So far I’ve gotten both of mine 3 days after order.

Ordered Wednesday eve / shipped thurs / will be delivered Monday.
Asked some questions on their site. Got a call the next day.
So far they have been very helpful.

I’ve gotten a bunch of their lights, everything about this company is amazing including shipping!
Run constantly for 2 years and not one diode is out on any of them. Never dealt with customer service because I’ve never had a reason to!
They always send more then enough wagos, electrical line and screws for install.
Their new lights even have far red addons
I have 6 lights from them all fast shipping and well packed. Actually getting ready to place another order soon.

Ok. I have not been entirely upfront with you guys. I placed an order with them for a qb320 kit on 28 June. (I wanted to get your take on HLG first before unloading on you guys.)
They accepted my card and sent an email stating that my order would ship the following week. It did not.
They have not answered numerous emails nor have they returned my phone calls. Granted, I have called once a day (at least)
for the past ten days so that may have pissed somebody off.
I ordered from HLG based on the glowing reviews , here and elsewhere, on quality and - more importantly, customer service.
At this point I’m open to suggestions. I am at wits end. Ideally I would like to get my kit, but right now that doesn’t seem to be in the cards.
Please! Constructive suggestions.

That’s pretty weird. The only time I have seen issues like that is when trying to get ahold of something out of stock. Do you have order and payment confirmation?

Did you send screenshots of both to them in your email? Also this is ordered directly through hlg right, and not growerslights or a different retailer?

Dbrn32 said it best. I had to wait a couple weeks for one of my lights from them because they were out of diodes and the others were sitting in customs.
My QBs showed up today just like they said.

@Jbum. Somewhere you posted that you put your qb driver outside of your tent.
I haven’t really examined mine ( I did have to rub em a little bit). But I’m thinkin all the lights need is the low voltage wires running to them so I’m going to do this also to help with temps in the tent thanks for the idea Jbum
@dragsterdad no problem! Grab some 18 gauge solid wire (it’s grey) and some wago connectors off Amazon and you’ll be good to go!
