Two years ago I purchased a 320w xl qb v2 r spec light from HLG for my 3x3x6 tent and was just curious if there was anything better in their inventory for my needs so i called them, dude answered on his cell phone while driving, ( I’m sure it was hands free lol) and said your setup sounds like it’s at it’s peak right now, save your money!! I was very appreciative about his honesty and thanked him very much for it. Anyone on the fence as far as a stand up lighting company, HLG is top notch!

I have odds and ends extra leds picked up over time one is a small hydro and 2 vision may put them on outside edges

I wasted 10 months on the fence. My leap of faith resulted in unexpected results. The Kil-Watt meter and the new light meter confirm HLG will win the KDerby or any match against my other lights. Vipar Spectras,. Time and money wasted not measuring DLI properly (Android maxes at 34KLUX). New meter maxes at twice that and will actually decrease, up close to light. DLI set for tent occupants, and everybody is happy, for now.
HLG 350R runs so much cooler at 50% than the Vipar HEATERs at 100% and a third less electricity.
The heat reduction alone, would have allowed summer grow indoors, without AC or burning the ladies.
