So I am now almost positive that I am in preflower. I will attach pics at end of post. Questions do i lower my light? I have been trying to get my soil ph up it has been coming up slowly watering with 7.3 ph’d water last run off checked in at 6.0 next watering will be with straight ro water and will recheck ph and ppm(it is still on high side but within range for ffhf). Should I start defoliation big fan leaves i think it might be early to start that. These girls never really stretched as they are short and bushy. I guess really asking stay the course or make changes thanks ahead of time.

If there in pre flower they will stretch soon, like inches a day. If it was me I would do some light defoliation just for air flow. They look bit droopy to me.

They were watered pretty heavy last night. Watered till they dripped. Last watering before last night 3 days. Seems they don’t drink a whole lot but their in 5 gallon pots. About every e days they seem to be ready for a drink.
Remove the dead undergrowth and some bigger fan leaves?

Flushing with straight R/o water will do nothing for you. If you want your soil to have a ph of 6.5 and a ppm of 700 then you would flush with 6.5/700ppm water until it matches. R/o water has such a low ppm count that it will conform to what your medium already sits at.
Clear out the middle of the plant. If leaves are sitting on top of each other then you need to trim them up. Plus you want your light to penetrate through to the lower bud sites. Otherwise your going to end up with alot of larfy and loose buds.
I usually wait until after transition to hit them hard with light.

So I did some trimming I tried not to go to crazy I will post before and after shots of the 2 plants I did still have one that hasn’t quite went into preflower. I don’t know if I should trim that one out as well what do you guys think? Tried to open the botto.s up a little and then took some of the fan leaves blocking light to the bud sites. I also water them today with 6.8 Ph’d water still fighting low ph ughhh.

Looks good to me. Droopy from watering i take it?
I sure hope so they looked a little drooping when I started trimming them. Any ideas what else would make them droopy.

Looks better for air flow and light penetration. Agree with purp on droopy.
So I have quite a full tent. Had to drop some beans to an unforeseen life change. Only have till christmas to get them finished. And it will be a little bit before I can go again. So 4 Jack Herer auto and one somango auto. We’ll see how this turns out.
All have sprouted and are showing the first little leaves tent is at 55% humidity and 76 degrees comes on light hung 36 inches from top of pots. Not hot to hand so it shouldn’t burn em up?
They should be fine. Gonna be a tight fit if they grow like we all know Jack’s can
