Help please I think I killed my plants :(

My plants will not grow. I think two are completely killed. Trying to see if there is anything I can do to save the rest. I think I put nutrients too early. I have orange curling tips and very very slow growth. I’ve been watering with regular water after the shock to hopefully flush out?? (I don’t know what I’m doing) I’ve been using fox farm soil, worm castings, growers recharge, fox farm nutrients. I’m really frustrated and want to give up. This is my first ever grow and it’s a million times more technical and difficult than I thought. I have air flow, a space heater, thermostat, led, tent, filters. You name it, I got it. But I don’t have the knowledge. I would really love some help as to what is going so wrong. I look at other peoples photos of where they are at and they started near the same time with same materials, and they have actual plants not some seedling looking sprouts that I currently have. They germinated fine. Put them in soil cells with a humidity dome + sun. Removed dome after sprouting. Grew fine & out grew cells. I repotted them. Placed in same soil but with a mix of coco & perlite, sprinkle of worm castings. I also put a pinch of growers recharge in the hole when I potted the plant. Put in grow tent. Turned ugly quick. I expected a little shock when repotting. But leaves oranged out. Led lights were about 2 feet as recommended by kind. They put off no heat. So I’ve been watering with just plain water when it gets dry. I also have a moister meter that tests light and I check that often. It’s been over a week and they have barley grown. Any word of advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for reading. Attaching photos…

You definitely dont need nutes till 4 to 6 weeks out if your in the same soil, but if you repot with new soil you can go another 4 weeks or so with out nutrients, if the soil if fox farm, and at that age(the pictures)i only water about once a week

Iam in week 7 of veg and and not even going to check ppms for another 2 weeks

Do you have a way to test ph and tds? Are you giving them tap? What’s the pH and tds going in?

Dang it. I must start over. Thank you

I’ve been giving them tap adjusted at around 6 ph. Is that right? I heard hydro they like it around 5 something. But soil likes it higher ph. I don’t know what I’m doing. Every where tells me different so I just went in between with a 6

I’d aim for 6.5 in soil. I like to vary mine a bit staying between 5.8-6.8 to hit on different nutrients best ph for uptake.

Thank you!! I’m going to adjust my water to that right now. Anything helps!! Appreciate it so much!

Also, what’s your seed situation like? You have more or this have to work out? It’s a way longer road nursing them back than starting over in my experience.

I have some new ones coming in the mail. I figured it was easier to start over, but I just wanted to see if I could save any of these little guys.

You definitely can. But just know it’s gonna be a slow process. Some look done for, some saveable.

Which fox farm soil do you have. What’s the tds of your tap before you alter it?

Ocean forest. I use Mother Earth coco + perlite too. And it’s natural at 7.5ish and I put a few drops of the orange acid. I think maybe because I mixed it with the Mother Earth it’s not getting as much water as it needs? It gets pretty dry after like the second day. Maybe my pots are too big?

The 7.5 is your pH. I’m curious about your total dissolved solids or parts per million. Tds meter would give you this number. You don’t need to feed yet, but when you need to this meter will be necessary…they are cheap if you don’t have one.

Is this it?? I don’t know how to use it or read it. So I got one of the things that stick into the soil. But it might be off.

Definitely could be does it say tds anywhere on it? The soil meter is garbage.

Yes!!

But the modes say this, Celsius, Fahrenheit, and ppm. ???

So check the ppm of your tap…preferably after it’s sat for awhile. See what your starting with.

It’s been sitting for a while. I just checked it when it says this

Okay I promise there was a point to this, lol. Fox farms is great soil, the ocean forest is a little hot for seedlings, but they can tolerate it generally if you don’t add more nutrients. Hot meaning a lot of nutrients present.

That being said I saw you mention this was all more involved and technical than you were expecting. I’ve been working on a pretty foolproof method of growing because simplicity is a goal of mine. I found a soil readily available at walmart that is perfectly suitable for cannabis seedlings. I also learned on these forums that if your water is less than 100 ppms it will assume the pH of the medium.

So I don’t ph my water until I feed and ppms go over 100. All I do is put my seedling in the pot and water appropriately. This will sustain you for a month easy as pie. When first leaves yellow you will need to break out the pH meter, tds meter, and the nutrients.

Again though fox farms is great from what I hear. But if your looking for simple I can link you to my current grow I’ve got some five day olds going.
