Hey I’m about a month into flowering a clone I received it’s starting to produce the beginnings of buds white hairs and all that (I’ll include pics) but my leaves are turning yellow and crisping up specifically the larger leaves I didn’t give it any nutrients because I was told my fox farms ocean floor had nutrients for about 2 months already in it but anyway I started noticing the yellowing and I read it could be low nitrogen so I started it on the 3 part micro grow bloom nutrients from ph perfect tech I just need some pointers on what I should do I’d really appreciate it I’m new to this just trying to figure it all out thanks
My advice is that you need to measure your runoff ppm. I’m guessing it’s going to be way high, it looks like nute burn to me. Are you PH-ing your water when you give it to your plant? Light height? Brand? Intensity? FFOF is preloaded with nutrients and you shouldn’t need to add nutrients at this time…unless your ppm is less than 1000. Do the runoff test and we’ll go from there.
Ok thanks I appreciate it I have one trellis netting holding it down but last time I snapped a stem but I put a stick to keep it straight and taped it and it healed it self so I’m gonna have to bend em down again cause they’re getting close to the light but my whole setup is vivosun the light/fan combo I also have an exhaust running air out and it’s a 48 in tent but I’ll do the test and post the results
Should I do runoff test with plain distilled water (ph is at around 6.36) or do I use the nutrient rich water for runoff ?
Ppm is 359 and ph is 5.85 for the runoff
If this is an accurate reading, your plants are starving.
This is too low. Mix yourself up enough nutrient solution at 1000 ppm or so to water each pot to good amount of runoff.
