Help! Is My Plant Ruined?

Is my plant ruined? (I know…mail it to you!)

I went out of town for 2 weeks to tend to an aging mother. While gone my wife did her best to care for my plant.

Came home to a significant spider mite infestation and a lot of brown leaves. I’ve been spraying with Jacks Dead Bug and it seems the spider mites are under control.

  1. Is it ok to spray Jacks Dead Bug heavy and frequently? Won’t affect consumption later? I will definitely do a bud wash at harvest.

  2. Does all the brown leaves seem bad?? Is it natural for most leaves to turn so brown in the 6+ week of flowering?

My plant is 6+ weeks in flower and I realize it has lots of time left. The pistols are still white (most of them). The buds are rock hard compared to my previous grows.

I would start by backing off on nutes to about 800 or 900 p p m . Plants definitely showing signs of being unhappy. Also check PH run off. Adjust accordingly.
Good luck :v:

Thanks for the reply. I’ll add more water when I mix nutes next time.

I was thinking the problem was attributed to the mite infestation.

Agreed, the plant is definitely stressed.

You can run CJDB daily if you want. But it takes five days or so after exposure to be effective. I alternate using CJ’s and ‘Safer Caterpillar Killer’ which uses a different bacterial vector and can target different pests than the other product. Use with distilled or R/O water only.

Thanks for the response

Any thoughts on all the brown leaves? Natural? Bug related? PPM related?

Luckily the buds are the most dense I’ve ever had

I would be surprised if dead bug would get spider mites u deer control. They’re pretty much bullet proof, other than a flame thrower.
