As long as the seeds are due to a fem plant herm’ing they should produce the same as the parent(s) (strain, auto, feminized etc). If it is one plant that self-pollinates, then the plants would be nearly clones of the original.
A friend had autos that self-pollinated and I have been growing some of the seeds. I have had very little problem with any hermies so far (1 out of 6 or 8 plants so far). This is one that I have growing now and I am sprouting 2 more.
As long as the herm’ing was due to environment (heat, water, light, etc.) and not a genetic defect, there is no reason to expect that trait to be passed on.
Thats good to know, it was the heat ,shot up to 91 a few days in between watering cycles so i didnt check it. But it was a feminized super skunk that hermed out and pollenated my purple gelatos and another super skunk.and my critical x marsa but it was ready for harvest.
The seeds I mentioned are autos of an unknown strain (friend forgot what they were). All he remembered was “purple something”. So far they have behaved as an auto should and have a fruity taste and aroma with purplish buds. Taste is sorta
I knows its not what you were going for, but if it hermied late i wouldn’t think it would affect potency much. Besides, this stuff all had seeds when i was a kid lol. Not too hard to deseed. Did it for years lol
