Here’s the skinny…I have 2 pants in a 2x2x4 tent with a spider farmer xs1500 light, exhaust fan and stable environmental controls. Problem is, both plants are about 6" max from the light. What percentage could I put my light to in order not to burn the canopy?

I agree with @beardless. Super crop those chiks. How far are you into flower? Two weeks or less I assume?

If you’re plants are photos and not yet in flower, you may want to super crop. They will get a 50% or more taller when flower hits.
