Thats insane good luck dealing with that when I had thrips I had to throw away all my soil im talking brand new unused perfectly good dirt steralized my grow space and equipent then waited 6 weeks to be certain every last one of them had starved or moved on then sterilized my grow space again just to be extra certain
I’ve been dealing with spider mites for months on end. Nothing has fully worked. If you can empty the space and clean hard with some violent things you can win. But I’ve had them in a batch of clone mothers and have been trying everything.
I wish you luck
Oh
that picture makes me cry and feel creepy all over ![]()

Turned into surprisingly good smoke. ![]()
I almost scraped the grow, but got some good advice. Spider mites don’t burrow, they web the outside. So.. some pantyhose around the shop vac intake and export to prevent shooting them all over the place. Thorough bud wash.. and it became the majority favorite of all my grows. ![]()
They are a huge nuisance… I buy predator mites… But also released 2000 ladybugs every year… The ones that are laid here and turn into larvae return I usually have about 20 to 30 return and lay more eggs on the plants every season. Don’t know how well that works but I don’t seem to have a problem.
+1 for predatory mites. They seem to be working well for now.. I’m almost daring to be optimistic
I know everyo e on fb sayn i should of scrapped mine on week 8 of flower…they crazy…i fought them off n got rid of them completely withn 3 weeks with crop defender 3…n throwing away a majority of the mites when they came to the top of the stalk…no way am i scraping a 4x4 full of big buds on week 8 of flower
..if the buds taste weird or have a issue or mold sure throw them away…but if they are clean…im smoking them…
I seen something on YouTube about washing your girls in a solution and then go straight to drying after you disinfected the area of course
