Have a question about side branches should i remove even though they have buds

Me too. @Edwards now is the time to do it. I try to cut everything that seems to be under a main cola or wont make it to the net. I pull all the tiny nugs that are underneath as well.

It will fill back in. You’re going to get good airflow. Every effort will go into the ones you left. I probably would have left the biggest fan leaves. Should be fine though.

The idea of the net is to open your plant everything just under the net as a bud site should be removed. But careful not to remove branches that have buds above the net, basically spread then lollipop.

@DanB @Crazy81 @SausageMahoney i only mainline to have 16 tops that’s why i cut everything else they came as side branches so u saying I should have left more even though they weren’t the main tops

Unless you are only using that net for support, I would have left everything above the net and clipped off everything under the net. More buds just wouldn’t be as big as your main ones.

I don’t have a net up but the training I did was similar to using a net.
