Hashish (kief) is done by freezing flower and shaking through a cloth screen onto glass. Some use ice water but I prefer dry ice. It takes just a few minutes. You can use trim and larf instead of flower. There are a number of threads that talk about it here.

You can also do something similar to kief by doing a solvent extraction which gets virtually all of the goodness. It requires the use of a vacuum still which can be bought or made. Again; there are a number of threads that discuss this method with plans.
