Has anyone had trouble with outdoor autos?

I planted 10 outdoor autos and they all finished at like 10" tall with 2 bud sites and about 2-3 grams each plant

My outdoor autos made it to 20" and you could count the number of buds on one hand, there were maybe 7 or 8.
I had larger branches on my indoor fem kush than some of the whole auto plant.

I have seen great indoor grows with them so I blame my grow on a slow start, the seedlings were outside in May for cold nights and short days…for me, starting in June, maybe starting the seedlings indoors would grow bigger plants. Unfortunately, I have to wait till next summer to try it out.

I’m growing an outdoor auto flower now, this is her

How may i be of some help

what is your secret ?..i think my climate has alot to do with it…did u start inside or out ?

No secrets when sharing knowledge, atleast not always, I did start her inside, she stayed inside for about 5 weeks and got transplanted outside in the ground, climates will have a big majority to do with it, what are your climates like, that picture I uploaded is almost 6 weeks from seed

Well I’m in the southeast…90-102 daytime temps…75-88 night temps…and 60-80% humidity. Mine were outside the whole time about 9-10 weeks. Yours looks good though, what strain ?

Auto assassin, from short stuff seeds, temps are pretty high if you can get them to some shade by any chance might be a good idea, that could be why they are growing so slow, also 60-80% humidity isn’t a bad thing, at least not vegging it’s not and the start of flower, when she flowers keep any eye on her due to humidity. (that is when she starts packing on weight and getting further in flower)

What was the temperature when they were started outdoors? I usually try to keep my autos at 74-78 degrees during day, and 67-70 at night, the only problem with the one I uploaded she sees 90-98 degrees daily, and once it cools down she does great

My first attempt at Autos, I started inside and were doing very well, I moved them out side at just starting third week, I wish I had waited for at least a full four week period, They Bonked, stopped growing dead for about 7 straight days, they slowly started coming round just recently, there was proly a ton of things I should have done with lighting schedule changes., but I should have kept them inside longer. Fortunately I still have 5 solid weeks to grow this summer and two Autos left from 3 starts. I just found one was completely eaten.
Keep tryin, I"ve seen some amazing Autos on the internet.

@FyshhTrap, that happened because it stressed them out, I had the same thing happen to get and in a split decision, I have her some food 2-3 days later looked pretty rough, so I let her sit there dry up for a couple days then have her more water and she bounces right back. Took a week for her to do something, but she started taking off, and autos really don’t matter with light ; duely noted, sun is alot more intense than cfls, leds, and or hid lights. That will shock the living hell out of them moving them to a spot with light that’s about 2-5x as intense

what are the best foods to use ? I’m technically a newbie. I’ve been growing outdoor for about 5 years, but this is the first year I tried autos…so this is still a learning process for me

All well i dont mind teaching thats what im here for, i do my grows alot different than a majority of people here, starting at the 3rd week of veg, I’ll give them 1/4 tsp of flora gro (green liquid), with that I give them 1 tsp of cal mag, and i also give them some flower nutrients only because they are only do far from flower, they get fed 1-2 times in veg, then they flower.

Auto flowers are good to learn with

I’ve never grown indoor at all, but I think I may give it a shot with some autos…any advice will help (i.e. lighting, nutes, etc.)

Is that flora gro and cal mag mixed with water to some degree? ounces, quarts , gals. etc…?

I have grown only out door in the past, with very light indoor starts. This is my first year growing Autos also, as well as starting them inside for an extended period. I was only using a double 36in. CFL at 17 watts for 34 total watts, it seemed enough to start them, but I knew I was moving them outside. These guys are good ,ask them everything ! I did find" Dr autoflower adventures" on youtube, this guy is nuts,
Good luck <*)))><{

Yes sorry all mixed in 1 gallon of water

Majik, look at my other post about my weird plant. HELP !!!

Where is it, or what is the topic name
