Has anyone had trouble with outdoor autos?

Ok let me go see if I can find it, what category

How do you keep bugs away outdoors. I hear neem oil spoken of. I do indoors but I look at my sunflowers and the ants love to eat the leaves but 10 feet away I have squash in a plastic sheet greenhouse with no bugs I leave door flap open so not like they can’t get in. Maybe just bugs prefer certain things?

I have used 2 tablespoons of Dawn dish washing detergent, the blue one, in 1 gallon of water, spraying plants with a lawn and garden pressure sprayer.

No problems here at 7000 feet elevation. Mine are used to 70 to90 degrees and 30 to 60%humidity. They have roughly 14 hours daylight outside in the soil.
