Well, after drying my one girl for two weeks I’m now in the curing stage for 3 weeks. This was on Golden Leaf auto flower that was just under 4 feet tall. I got the majority of the leaves off of it, but those small ones by the buds are tough so I have a little more trimming to go. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the yield. I know I’ve got at least 3 weeks of curing to go, but I did have a little sample last night & it did not disappoint.
Congrats nothing better no smoke beats that first toke of a successful harvest ![]()
Get cha a bowl trimmer. Thatll help tremendously. Congrats on the harvest!
Congratulations on a successful grow and harvest. I can’t ever wait for the cure to sample either. ![]()

Congrats @Mgms
Okay I’m kinda old school on the dry/ cure, what do you mean by cure. It won’t mold in the jars if not complete in drying
In 1980 we dried and smoked in a day or two.
Now we Jar at 65-70%RH then burp down to 63 and store for three months.
check often and burp if needed.
65-70% RH. What is RH. Sorry but I’m a little ignorant about this part. It’s going to be talking to me for 3 months when I do that. Your right about in the 80s. And the 70s.
I would like to get some literature on this part of the fun
Okay I see what you mean. I know the feeling I got out in 84. I will be getting a meter set up for that to get ahead of harvest
Is there any PDFs on “Curing and what it does
Yea I would have never washed my harvest back in the past. I’m just trying to wrap my head around the 3 months of cure.
The wash concept is interesting, who knew.
Pro- see the junk you dont’ want to smoke
Pro- softer curable weed
Pro- possible anti-microbial benefit.
Pro- drown the hitchhikers.
Con- Good weed should not need bath.
Con- Did I do it wrong?
I hope so, but storage becomes a potential problem.
Better than diesel barge stored-transported weed from the 70’s.
Damn brought back old memories, how about seabo. Of course seed’s came by the 100s Not cost a hundred
