Just asking what you are doing, just started mine and what you are intending to do ?
I’m gearing up for a guerilla grow on an abandoned railroad right-of-way. There are lots of deer and rabbits. So far my only brainstorm is a wire-mess milk crate over each plant to keep the critters from eating my babies. Maybe the 2" mesh of the milk crate can double for a SOG (horizontal mesh above the plant). Hopefully by the time the plants get big enough to poke out through the mesh they will no longer be tasty to the critters? I’m using auto-flowers in 2-3 liters of soil to keep the plants small so ATV riders don’t spot them. I’m aiming for the sunny stretches in high weeds on the sunny south sides of stands of maple and poplar trees. There’s not much soil on the 3" crushed stone RR base, so I’m bringing my own. I’m eliminating the flowerpot and using burlap to hold the soil in a low ball, so the wire mesh of the milk crate is about 10-12" above the soil. I’m a newb, so any advice is appreciated.
Your problem from the beginning is that your not in a legal state…
Problem #2 is that your worried about someone walking up on them…
That means that your too close to anything and everyone…
Your at the mercy of a atv or a utv or just some dunm ass walking through the area…
Way too many things to worry about…
Find a different method or just move to a new location…

Peach fuzz is right, thats why the answer is AZ my friend. Thats where its at. Most lenient grow laws in the country from what I see, IMO. Anyway if you live in the cool north country around Flag or Williams there are all kind of places along creeks and babbling brooks with much Guerrilla potential.
The problem for me is the deer, those bastards love anything green, I caught a group of them eating my AZ Cyprus trees last week. So growing in some tall grass/weeds along a creek would work well if you could wire off a section that would keep Bambi and her friends from having a buffet.
I like the idea of the metal milk crates to protect the young uns.
I second the creek access suggestion. i did a few outdoor grows years ago and I wouldn’t consider anything more than 100’ from a steady water supply.
I spray painted the outside of the bucket with a dark green krylon and didn’t keep it anywhere near the plants but instead at the creek.
I also liked briar patches too.
You want to make as minimal an impact to the surroundings as you can.
If nothing looks out of the ordinary most people won’t give it a second look.
That being said cops came to my buddies house once to serve a warrant on his roommate and they walked right past a 3ft tall plant growing in a stump in his front yard. Never even glanced its way according to him. LOL!
