But isn’t it also important to know which pH your soil has ?

Oh nice, man so you even younger dad then me. Lol
I have a lot of fun with them and yea it really feels you built up a connection with your plant after caring so much about it.

If you don’t know your soil ph you could do a slurry test with it. But your plants are big enough to water then until you get run off. At that point you check the runoff(water that comes out the bottom of the pot) for the pH and ppms. This will tell you how much your plant is eating and where your pH is sitting inside your soil.

I still don’t get why they grow so slow tho. I bought a really good light and give them water every second day. I hope the nutrients will let them thrive good now.

Absolutely!! Im sure you talk to your plants and ask them questions just as I do haha your plants don’t look terrible at all. Once you grab a ph pen your life will be SOO much easier, for you and your plants.

And for all your soil questions… @Countryboyjvd1971 grows in soil and is leaps and bounds ahead of me with knowledge. So any soil question you should tag him and he can school you up and have you feeling the most confident about your grow.

Welcome to the forum
Looking at the pictures you posted @Verdant
It looks like you may have a ph issue
When ph is abovebor below proper ranges that @imSICKkid mentioned you will lock out nutrients and growth will slow down

Have you started to feed them what your ph and ppm readings

I have the Apera Instruments AI209 PH20 @imSICKkid mentioned and it is great. Not familiar with the one you found, but the Apera is accurate, easy to calibrate and use. A lot of folks here use it also.

Some 7ph calibration fluid is a good idea too to make sure you are reading correctly. (Takes out the guess work)
pH is just that important.

Good luck on your grows. :sunglasses:

Thank you,
I will buy a Ph/ppm pen today, and check it as soon as I got it. Trust me I will run up there. Lol
If I know them I would be happy if I could hit you up and we work further with the facts we have then.
Thanks for the help
