I have no clue What my next step is lol. I’m headed to Lowe’s to find something and get some clone stuff. It’s about money here. I’d love to have 7 bags of that happy frog from foxfarm but it’s 35$ a bag. I’m sure I can find something close to it.
Cool thats good stuff, I was just sayin for those asking what your growing in. You got better than my starting mix, a home brew of leftovers and peat moss.
Id decide between expensive soil, or cheap soil and nutes. Even $$$soil will need nutes after 3 - 6 weeks. But youll get a few weeks out of $10 soil and then going to use nutes.
I dont wanna give bad advice but now I got GH Floranova I even run used soil a few weeks then feed. FF nutes probably give the same. Been reading good stuff about Jack’s.
Thank goodness I’m off the farm or I’d be using chicken poop lol.
10 days in right now. I think they look good. Of course I haven’t grown enough to compare it with anything. I guess I have a simple mind set that it’s actually a weed and would grow about anywhere warm, sunny, good dirt and water. We use a fertilizer down here on our gardens called triple 10. It’s good stuff. We just sprinkle a little in the dirt then put the plants in. I thought about that but I’d like something more organic. Any suggestions y’all?
Started with Walmart soil then to Ff and of mixed decided for a few reasons to go back to Walmart it does a good job. I’ve move forward with build a soil Pro-mix, and now locop growers said 365 takes 5he guess work out so I have 3 bags to get 3 different soils going.
Hey, i got a buddy who composts his chicken poop and grows with it. I have seabird and bat guano on order
Guano? Lol
Bat lol. I use Fox Farm Big Bloom which is worm bat and fish poop.

You were very close to how high the light was. I had read somewhere or on you tube that they needed to be 36-40 inches above the top of the plants. I had it at 36 but I took your advice and lowered it and I swear it made them greener and perkier in 24 hours. They are 13 days in the dirt. I think they look pretty good at this stage.
You will find the guidelines are very adjustable to our needs there is a lot of great information out there adjustments.
Looking back at your pics, the plants look much better than a week ago!!!
I’ve made it point to keep a journal on the do and the do not do.
Looking excellent @Shellbell. Glad to see they all made it through the transplant.
Me too.
I know y’all might be tired of seeing these little plants but started the grow fertilizer today. I decided on the fish fertilizer. Once they start flowering then I’ll use a bloom/flower booster. The soil looks wet because I watered/fertilized just a while ago. I’m thinking I don’t need to water them again for a couple days. What do you think about the fish fertilizer?
Hi all! So I have a question if anyone feels like it. So I have an auto that is 14 weeks old. I grow in my garage and in the winter it stays in the high 50’s, so it’s been a slow grow. My girl is frosted and beautiful. The pistils are dying back and the trichromes are all cloudy but the buds themselves are still in the fluffy stage, they haven’t done much hardening up.
My question is should I just wait till the trichromes start to amber up before I harvest? Do all cannabis buds get hard or do some stay kind of fluffy? I know this probably has to do with the age of the plant since auto’s are on a timetable. I don’t want to cut down the plant to early but I don’t want the thc to degrade.
Any advice?
I included some pictures for a visual aid. This isn’t my first grow but it is my first winter grow and it has been a long one. I just want all the time I put in to be worth every gram.
Peace and thanks
@Elysium its all about what kind of effects you are looking for. 20 to 30% amber will lock you down , if you arecwanting to function, cloudy is what you want. Id personally wait for about 10% amber. Also giving your grow conditions might account for the yield ( fluffy buds)
Yeah that’s what I figured, the cold weather probably stunted the growth. Thanks man appreciate it.
@Elysium autos take on the flowering traits of the photoperiods theyre made from. So if the photperiod version is 12 weeks flowering then the auto usually follows the same. The only difference in the 2 is the lack of control in veg and the lighting.
