Growing in hydroton and have a small issue

I am in my first grow so I am new. I am growing in hydroton in 4 gallon buckets in a ebb and flo or drain and flood system. I am growing in a 4x4 gorilla tent 8’ tall. my lights are 4 HLG QB648 boards driven by a hlg_600H-54AB I adjusted light levels to 500 par using a apogee par meter. I am using general hydroponics 3 part flora series. My water is filtered tap water at 210 ppm I am using “Flora Micro” for hardwater. Temp has been maintained between 65-75 degrees humidity between 40-55%.
I had a problem when I first transferred my plants from the incubator to the tent. My Ph meter was way off and the first 48-72 hours the plants had a really high Ph and my PPM were also way too high. When the plants started to get some yellowing and brown spots I figured out what was wrong and lowered Ph to 5.8 and PPM to about 550. The plants responded and started to grow, following a recommendation I was feeding every 2 hours. I thought I might have some nutrient burn going on so I drained the reservoir and ran one feed cycle with just straight water @ 6.0 PH and then I mixed up a 400 ppm solution of nutrients at 5.8 Ph and went to a 4 hour feed schedule. I am currently feeding 400PPM @ 5.8Ph every 4 hours. Lights run 18 hours and 5 out of six plants look okay just slightly a lighter green than you would expect. My reservoir has 2 air stones and a aquarium heater keeping nutrient solution @ 63 degrees.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Raise the PPMs to 800-1000 Growmie, PH at 5.8-6.2 :love_you_gesture:

Thank you. 4 hour feed schedule seem right growing in hydroton??

@AfgVet can help with the frequency on the fill and drain intervals. I run an Aeroponic system occasionally with different intervals depending on the growth stage :love_you_gesture:

I’ve had great luck with flooding for 15 minutes every two hours, veg through harvest

okay. I’ll raise my ppm to 800 and back to a 2 hour feed schedule and hopefully they green up. They have looked a little “wilty” after I went to 4 a hour schedule.
