Hey @DIYMan, I’m looking to keep my grow tent as cheap as possible, for exactly the reason you posted this - wasting money of flimsy cheap stuff. Especially if you were able to do a 4x8 for $60, I think I need to aim for 2x4x5. I love a good diy project, do you have any tips or guiding advice if I wanted to emulate this? Just some things like what material you used for skeleton / body, etc?

I’m growing three plants (check it out here if you want), and am looking for a set up where I could grow 3 or 4 in the future.

@sweet_quiche did u ever figure out your diy grow tent? in interested in building one mainly because i cant find the right dimensions for purchase

I’m sure you’ve figured out what you were looking to do and sorry for the many months of delay… 6 mil poly, some spray glue, double sided sticky tape and a roll of prez tape. 2x4 or pvc for framing…

6mil Polly , spray glue and doubled sided sticky tape and pvc framing is what I used …

im still interested in building a tent. pvc for a frame, thats a good idea. did you glue a zipper to the film?

I use zipper by zip wall, comes in packs of 2 and is self adhesive. Once it’s set simply cut hole for intake at bottom and exhaust at top and do not use 1000w , run 600w or led or will have trouble managing heat
