i have an odd question, i have a Goldleaf in my tent and when my grow light cuts off i can smell the plant coming thru the vent in my room, but when my light is on i cant smell anything coming thru the ventā¦ any idea why?

At a guess, the lower temp when the light is off means the exhaust fan runs slower. Alternatively, it could be the photons from the light are impacting the smellocules and sending them into a higher energy state. If thatās the case you wonāt be able to smell anything unless you push your nose into the 4th dimension. Be careful if you try that. I know a guy who come back too hasty and still canāt tell French toast from dog farts. The 4th dimension is slippery that way.
I donāt know. Thatās interesting. When I had the northern Lights going in the 2x2 the whole laundry room and garage smelled like it but just because I drug the duct through the door out into the garage. But it smelled all day and night! LOL!
I havenāt grown out a Gold Leaf yet so maybe itās just a plant thing?
My niece has one going but itās in the same room with like 6 other strains starting too! LOL!

Itās entirely anecdotal but Iāve heard lots of people say plants smell stinkier after lights out. No idea if thatās the case or if itās just incidental (as suggested, perhaps less air exchange is needed to mitigate high temperatures during lights on, so the odor accumulates more before the exhaust happens).
Terpines creation is done while lights are out. Thats why its always good 2 harvest in the dark or after a 48h hour dark period. Thats my put

ILGM has the CB but they call it something else because apparently Chiquita sued somebody in the past over it. I think the mention it in the write up. Some sell it by that name, some by other, similar names. And some breeders tweak the hybrid too further clouding the strain.
But my niece IS bananas so I understand the draw! LOL!

Outstanding harvest and current plant status. Next time you just need to explain āSon, Iām about to punch you - but Iāll need to see some ID firstā. If he starts reaching you tag him then. If he says anything about leaving his ID at a friendās house you know to threaten differently.

Check out the cup slotting in Hellraiserās GG journal. Good drainage as long as you slot the side and not the bottom. Donāt just make a slice. You need to remove some plastic - maybe 1/4āx1ā.
