Grow Journal 2025

Here we go! Lets see what adventures mother nature takes us on this season!

It’s so nice to come out of hibernation and get back in the dirt and brewing conpost tea!

Just went through the entire 2024 journal, some great info from the gromies in it, thanks for your comments last season and good luck to everybody for a season full of fat stinky buds.

Journal post:
Plants were started in 90% water, 10% hydrogen peroxide. 24 hrs

Then into red solo cups with little plastic humidity domes. Domes removed once leaf touches the dome.

Started hardeing off, putting them outside in direct sunlight for 60 min. Wind makes me nervous during hardening off…those my kids, lol. Have to do it or plants burn up in the sun.

Anyways, lets go!

Topped most plants to limit height and get the branches growing out.

Hardened off for 4 hrs today.

Putting the 2 tall Battle Axe plants in the window… getting burnt by lights in tent…2-3 weeks till going outside… will keep hardening off as the weather allows.

Progress update. Been hardening off gradually a little everyday. Watering with hydroshield and some Fish Shit when potts feel light.

Planting outside after Mothers day…because Sunday has a low of 42 at night…next week lows in the 50’s.

Had to move tall plants from tent to windows…they were so tall the light was strating to burn the plants.

Looking forward to getting these in the ground and into fabric pots next week!

Plants are in their permanent homes as of today.

8 direct in the ground in the garden

4 in reused grow bags from last season.

Used mycos, worm castings, can of sardines in water in every hole, rice husks on top dress to keep some moisture and block out weeds. Haha…

Nice things going on. I’ve got some in grow bags outdoors and they are growing through the bag. And some youngsters soon to go in the ground. :green_heart:

Weekly Update - Bugs are always the issue outside. Swear I should use “lost coast plant therapy” on day one.

Doing some LST but giving it a break since a Nor Easter ia moving in…with 50mph gusts forecast…lets say a couple of prayers for these girls…I think they are ready for it…Hygroshield early helps develop strong cell structure and strong stems, they have seen a few windy days but nothing like whats coming…the nothing is coming!
