Grow Journal 2024

This is going to be my grow journal for 2024.
Last year lost 90% to mold and bud rot. Hope for a drier year this round.
Less is more this year, dialing back the nutrients, staying with compost teas and soil amendments. Plan is to pop 24 beans and see what happens, fingers crossed. Waiting till 4-1 to pop the beans, usually do 3/15…tough to wait, lol

Welcome back. That sucks. I lost my biggest cola last grow to rot. Never saw it till 2 days before I chopped. I will tag a long :+1:

Thanks for tagging along, more grow bros the better.
I always expect a 10% loss, but last season was excessive.

I had 13 plqnts I think. And would be lucky to say I got much over a lb total. I normally can count on double digits for most plants. I am in coco. So can basically just watch here  My issues were mostly from lack of attention. I am now doing just 4 plants. It should be easier on me. Are you growing out side? I am indoors only

Getting ants in my pants…I’m looking forward to putting my seeds in water and peroxide this week!

Starting line up 2024
Purple Majic
Grape Diamonds
Grape balls of fire
White Truffle x Blueberry Muffin
Zkittles Glue
Grandpas Stash x Mandarin Cookies
Grandpas Stash x Lemon Berry Cookies

If these all work out it will be great.
If some fail, we have back-ups.

Fingers crossed, happy growing!

Soil mix seems to be too chunky…half never popped. Was using happy Frog and this batch seems full of bark…or more than seedlings would like.

Switching bak to “Black Gold” for starting seeds. Not sure why I tried anything differently.

The best thing about this hobby is being able to learn from your experiences.

Popping 12 new ladies and will be going back to using propagation trays and lids.

I’m sure now there will be extras to find homes for, lol. More is better, right?

Coming along nicely.
Been hardening off for a couple of hours a day… getting ready to go out in the garden!
Then it’s IPM time. Battling bugs till September…trying Gold Coast Plant Therapy this year, comes recommended. Also sticky traps snd diatomaceous earth, fingers crossed :crossed_fingers:

Those are some pretty plants. It’s fun to see them before Mother Nature beats them up. Good luck w the mold and bugs this year.
