Dropped a seed in my peroxide and water solution and set it on my heating mat. Here goes grow #3. I figured I’d put a journal up here along with the Grow with Jane app I use. Once the seed pops she goes into a plastic sandwich bag with a moist paper towel for a day, and then I’m trying something new and putting her right in her final home.
Once she comes out of the bag, she’s going into Mother Earth Groundswell mixed with extra perlite. I’m using a 5 gallon fabric pot and will be feeding with Jacks321 and silica blast once the time comes. Once entering the seedling phase she’ll get domed with a clear plastic cup with a hole drilled in the top. She’ll live under there until her leaves touch the sides and then freedom. I’ll breathe her a couple times a day and mist the cup. PH and PPM will be monitored once feeding begins.
I’ve had great success with the soil and feeds so let’s see how it goes! I’m planning on high stressing her pretty good this time to see what happens. Obviously I’ll make changes as needed lol.

Checked the seed a little bit ago, and she cracked open and is starting the tap root. Moved her into the baggie with a moist paper towel. Going to check tomorrow morning for progress. Woot woot!

Went down to check on the baggy sitting on the heating mat and it had condensation inside but the paper towel was really dry…the taproot was the same size as in the shot glass, so I rewet the paper towel and put it back on to see if it grows. Went down a few minutes ago and it is in fact getting bigger! That’s a relief! Hopefully into the dirt tonight.

Patiently waiting…or diabolically planning what I’m going to do to her…
I’m going to try the ACI self watering bases that I finally opened and try mainlining. We shall see!
In the meantime, now I wait.

I just started using mine Saturday…idk how I feel yet. Plants are happy but creates humidity issues obviously, getting a dehumidifier and hopefully I can balance it out if not they gotta go.
How many are you running? I’m doing 1 plant and I’m hoping the base adds some humidity, I always battle to keep it high enough with central air.

No ground break yet. Misted the dome this morning. Added a humidifier (equate brand) no automated into the tent as my lung room runs around 40% and so does the tent. Brought it up to better range. I’m using the chicken broader radiant heater again to maintain temps. Patiently waiting for her to show her pretty little head.
So still no soil break, so I gently swept back some dirt to see what was going on…still not rooting, but some green still from where it split open…I’m going back to the peroxide and water in a shot glass for the next 24 hours with it to see if she’ll still pop all the way. If not another seed comes out of the pack.
