This is our first harvest. It was a small autoflower lemon og haze. The buds are fluffy. What can we do with next run to get those supersweet dense nuggs we see pics of.

More red spectrumed lights will help a decent bit and foxtailing can break up the structure some so make sure your not hitting them with to much light intensity otherwise maybe try more aggressive fertilizer regiments in coco coir to get bigger buds in general

Started with a couple of those cheap blurples and bout halfway through switched to a mh tsl 2000 which seems a nice light in her 2x4 tent but maybe was too little too late for this plant. Under the light now turned all way up is a raspberry cough photo that was flipped to flower a few days ago and seems to be happy, we will see. In process of building a grow room in basement fitted with plenty of hid lighting. Then we’ll use the tents for mothers and clones. This journey is so much fun. Made better by the shared knowledge and encouragement on this forum. You are all incredible and we appreciate you all. Thanks wish we could smoke a bowl with all of you.

I started a year ago,started with Hydro very rough start , moved to soil , now growing a lil better and actually trying hydro again , getting ready to actually make my mother’s , you’ll get there

And don’t even look at the thc sacs for amber until the buds have receded and swollen pistils. I think the number one mistake I see on the board is harvesting too soon.

Light, light, light and more light.
That’s the key to dense heavy buds.
Have a crappy light, you’ll get crappy buds. (Trust me, I bought 4 LED’s before I followed the
advice of the pro’s here and bought a GOOD light).
Always focus on PAR efficacy, NOT gimmicks or price.
You want to look for µmol/J rating. A perfect rating is 3.0.
Find a grow light with a number closest to 3.0.

What did you buy? I have a SF-1000 and I feel like a n00b now haha.
Nothing wrong with a ts1000. All depends on the size of space you’re lighting up.
I have a 3x3x4 using a TS 1000. Wish I had one more but I’m getting by on one.

Gixxer 1000w, BloomPlus 1000w, Carambola 1000w, GrowStar 300w and California Light Works 250 Solar Extreme.
The Carambola and CLW250 weren’t bad but weren’t great either. Both have a Par efficacy rating of about 1.9umols/j

@Randy_Marsh , @Noobgrower95 @CMichGrower sorry if missed anyone. The light started with was probably $40.00 China lights then they failed so ordered a mh tsl2000. Which lighting problems im convinced now contributed to the popcorn. But should be remedied for this grow getting ready. Almost have new room in basement finished that i built is 8x6’x 8ft tall ran new power from panel for 240 volt service to some dual output dimmable ballasts that i was gifted so going to run some 400 watt metal halide for veg and 600 watt hps for flower. also since following @Hellraiser going to do coco in pots ( going to do gorilla glue )using jacks 321. i have learned a lot with a small ebb and flow table i built which has a raspberry cough that will flip to flower this weekend( its under a tsl2000) and the grow that produced the fluffy bud. dont mind the electric bill for now so will do this until led becomes more convenient. also the company i work for has been doing all the hvac and piping for the local commercial grow facilities so have been able to ask lotsa questions about automation for watering and light control. this is getting more fun each week. boy, i ramble as much with a keyboard as i do verbally. this gets me sooo pumped up.

Not sure if I’ve experienced fluffy bud. Smoked some shit that was pistil, trichome and sugar leaf smothered in sugar that looked pretty ugly but thumped my thumper. Loose bud and hard bud smokes and grinds the same with the same effects.
