1st harvest progress

This is my first harvest. It’s a Northern Lights autoflower. I’m on day 3 of drying in my tent. Temperature ranges 60⁰ to 62⁰ and Humidity is staying between 58% and 61%. I was just wondering if everything looks ok?
SolomanGrundy helped me through my grow but he’s out a while for surgery. Prayers for him.

Temp could be a little higher (target ~68F,) but otherwise ideal.

I’m not sure how the buds are supposed to look while drying. They dont look like a nugget.

Bud density is mainly a function of adequate lighting. What lighting are you using and how many plants are you growing, and in how much grow space?

btw: I should have mentioned this in my first post: congrats on the harvest. The 2nd pic looks great.

2x2 mars tent. I have the vivosun 4 in exhaust fan and filter E42 smart controller combo with the 100w light and circulation fan.

I only had 1 plant

It takes a minimum of 200 watts to adequately flower a single plant. I run 400 watts above my plants and get results like this:

My SF 1000 LMH301EVO 100W light would Disagree 3.9oz (111g) of high quality bud with a nice density off my last haul

And i’m about to harvest three clones from her

Then theres this beauty still in early flower also under a Sf 1000 granted its not an LMH301EVO but still a 100W light

Do you use silicate and cal-mag in your grow? I didn’t at first but since I’ve started I’ve basically seen my yeild double

Nice plate you got there Mid

Those are really nice looking! I’d like to see what you could do with more light if you can get results like that with 100 watts.

That’s 1 plant under about 600 watts and came out with 17.5 ounces

Correct me if I’m wrong but i believe certain lighter terpenes begin volatizing off around 67-68* F.
Cant remember which at the moment.
Though i often can’t drop my temp to 60* F and have had good results so far at 68-70* F

I know dew point is something people are now considering and might play a factor when balancing temp+humidity to dry your harvest. At 68* F and 60% rH you’re sitting right around 53.6* F dew point which is right in the range that a Cannatrol unit stores their flower for dry + cure.

Having just read that maybe I shouldn’t worry about trying to accomplish that “perfect” 60/60 in my dry space…

Solomon got me this far so I’m going to keep going with what he’s recommended.
I was just wanting to know what the buds should look like at this point. I didnt word that correctly.

Looks good. Praying for @SolomanGrundy as well. We just cured at 60RH/70.

This is my first plant and so far the drying buds don’t look like firm nuggets that I’ve ground and used. I’ve looked for pictures of different stages of drying and havent found any. I’m just nervous…lol

It looks good but I’m not sure how the buds should look and feel at this point. So far they don’t look like a nugget.
