The nugget look will come after you trim it if it’s a denser bud. If it’s fluffy, you won’t have a “nugget” because the bud has stretched out some. That can be contributed to many different things from what I have been reading, watching and listening to.

I am trying to catch up. I guess your buds are dried to 12% moisture using your moisture meter checking one end in the stem beside the bud and on end into the center of the bud, squeeze the bud if you ended up with airy buds to check. If dried cut the buds off of the main stem and put into the big grove bag with the 62% boveda packet and meter. Look for a reading of 62% three days in a row when you open the bag. If higher than 62 % leave open for 30 minutes and repeat until stabilizing is achieved. Then bag into the small bags no more than a ounce per bag.
Sounds like you have airy buds. This is because of many things.
- Nutrients. Only using foxfarm trio is not enough consider the dirty dozen and utilize the full foxfarm feeding chart in its entirely.
- Lighting. Read up on Lux and different lights available.
- Temps and humidity. Need to maintain to achieve good building of buds.
- Maintain a good lux reading for your grow.
- Strain and genetics. Not all seeds are created equal. Reasurching helps from good seed suppliers.
- There is so much into this that it takes time to achieve a perfect grow, don’t give up. Read, Read, Read, is my best advise to what you want. It takes time. Congrats on your first grow, you have something to be proud of and something to smoke, enjoy.

It’s hard to poke the buds. Very airy. Do I leave all the sugar leaves on to put in the grove bags?

Yes they are very good to smoke when your buds are airy, basicly are your buds. No problem. You got nice tricones so you ought to get good buzz and meds. You got through your first grow and have new targets. Welcome to growing. Nothing is a given when you take mother nature into your own hands.
Think of it as a fish tank if you ever had one you have to give the fish a good home for them to do well.

Im so thankful you are back. How did your surgery go?
Right now I no longer care about the airy buds. I have a great crop. 4.6 ounces or 130 grams. I am beyond happy right now.
Its in my grove 1 gallon with the humidity pack.
I was so nervous because it is different from any I’ve had.
Coach, you are an amazing person, helping others when you are also not well.
Im going to grow these seeds again because I already have them. I will shoot for more dense buds. Thank you, so very much.
