From a fellow grower: MY GDP photo seeds are very stunted. They are outside in fox farm frog soil. I live in Colorado so it’s dry. Feeding with fox farm nutrients. Planted in the ground.
How old is the plant? Day and nighttime temps?
Is it still pretty cold in co? I live In Oregon and I’m not putting my girls out until tomorrow. I usually wait until may 15 but the weather looks like it’s gonna be nice all the way through the 15th
If the ground is still cold it will stunt your growth
If your nights are cool say in the 50s, it will stunt growth and slow down nute intake
I agree with the others that its probably a temperature issue. Until the ground warms up things just dont grow. I live in Missouri and my tomatoes only just now started to show some growth after a month in the ground. Being a photo period it will be fine and grow once the ground temp gets better.
They’re about 7 weeks old
It’s been in the 70’s here. I normally don’t put out until middle of may but it’s been warm. I just put them in the ground 5 days ago. They have been indoors until recently.
They weren’t growing while indoors either. I’ll just keep
Plugging along. Eventually they will grow I suppose ![]()
Whenever I’ve experience slow development it is usually because the temperature and or humidity was too low.
Constantly, or more like daytime highs in 70’s and and night temps dropping to 50’s or lower? If so, this will definitely slow plants down.
In my indoor grows even at 75f lights on and 60’s lights off the plants are slow. Grow outside is different, but i bet this is what you’re seeing.
Thanks. Must be. I’ve always grown this way with no issues. It’s actually been warmer here lately than it usually is. I started them a little later than I usually do. That might be an issue too. They still have time to grow since they won’t be ready for harvest until October.
Thanks for your reply😊
It’s bone dry here but I’ve always grown this way. They will catch up I hope😊
