Got A Grow Going Y'all

Haha I’m only about 20 days reading time behind you lol. Marine biology enviro science sounds very interesting. You apparently like the knowledge too. I managed to graduate high-school way back when lol started working turning wrenches and the rest is history. I wasn’t nearly as concerned with knowledge back then lol.

I feel the same way once i got my head out my ass it was then i could probally grow some good weed i run a exotic fruit tree nursery also so i been heavy tree learning for 10 years but fruit trees and weed are very different … Also grow orchids as a side hobby

Understand the genetics of the strain you are growing and make sure you give it adequate nutrients and its’ proper environment. Each strain (and plant from seed) is different. You have to learn to read your plants. When I start from seed. I pop like 7 – keep the strongest one - and thats the mom - then I’ll take clones and do my grow. (Phenotypes) - Seems like you’re reading the right things - just get the right equipment - DIY is BS if it weren’t, there would be a Google dispensary’s (google used any type of computer in the beginning) - at this time I do not know of any one dispensary that doesn’t use lighting with a warranty and coverage in case of fire. This is more important to me than saving money, knowing my house or grow place won’t burn down and if something breaks, the warranty replaces it within 24-48 hours! 5 year warranty’s standard.

I been growing the same 4 strains for about 2 and half years … Thats how i learned to read plants every training method …scrigs sogs mainline. Top fimmed lst lollipop synthetic organic… I got 4x hlg 600s v2 rspecs and i built some bad ass veg lights they ill tag u into my journal

@fano_man my rh stays at 38-45% and my temps are vetween 64-70, so your saying these plants are in bad shape or what is it, i feel like they are doing great but im a newbie, its not the whole plant and not top colas its the side shoots tgat are nainly doing it and not a bunch just here and there, i can take more pics, i got a magnifier coming should be here tomorrow, but who knows with the holidays, i just dont want to he messing this up and killing them? @Bulldognuts @repins12 @pptrsha1 @Myfriendis410 am i doing something horrible here or is this natural, the pics are upwards in the chat just a little but i can take furtger pics if needed at any time

Can you post some recent pictures of what you are talking about? I would be glad to take a look :v:t4:

Your ladies look good. I see the one that the pistils are turning rust. Is that the only one doing it.

No can be totally unrelated but i had a plant or 5 get hit in the pistils first then bitritus cinera (bud rot) set it quickand fast… First sign i saw was the pistilz browning then looking dead not goid looking …u will beable to tell if the bud looks good or …eww

@repins12 okay so i tried my hand at this clip on mocroscope thingy i got off of amazon, not but but i gotta get a steady hand, anyways its not happening to all plants in the garden, just here and there on bottom area buds

Now i do believe i see new fresh pistils growing from those budsites. Here are a few of the microscope pics i could get, nothing special yet let me tell you, they smell great some smell cheesy, others smell citrusy, while others smell fruity kinda, got nice smells, not seeing anythung funky looking about the buds as of yet:

And this is just the grow area, and then i got 2 clones going in one cup and 3 seeds popped in the other 3 cups

Let me know what you all think, i think i fixed the last reply not sure i clicked reply accidently sorry @repins12

No your right to be keep an eye on it it begins to take drastic turns once its in if it that …and not really a trim and remove thing like barley jostle the plant as u get it out the room and pray i dont wanna scare u but ive had it multiple times and u say u jus hit 60s so u must be south like me im in south florida so just keep eye on it

@fano_man it doesnt look as if its bud rot or any of that, i have looked them over and they all seem healthy, there even getting slightly bigger, i have been reading and i come up with that this is not uncommon for plants in 4-6 to start getting orange pistils, they say to keep watching for new pistil growth to form over the orange pistils, which i believe i am seeing, i sure dont want bud rot, i got a pretty good control of the grow environment, lastnight i could have brought the temps back up to par but it usually stays around 66 in there as of now, i looked on the internet and it said that theres nothing wrong with those temps, but again im no expert and im trying to learn, bud i will be watching closely for and bud rot, my rh stays at 40% and it jumps up to around 45% as soon as i feed the girls

Really all you can do is keep a eye on it. If you notice that it’s causing a problem you deal with it. Even if you have to take a few buds early and let the rest finish up.

Get them in a spot that’s there forever home and start tying them up before they start falling over your close to that point already there just gonna get more and more top heavy

Your girls look great :+1: I agree with above quote, with a little training you will be able to increase yield in the same amount of time.
