Gorilla glue flowering

Gorilla glue auto. I’ve been growing in a DWC system. My nutrients have been masterblend power grow. I’m in week 11 day 75. And it’s been 38 days in flower. I want to know if someone could help me figure out why my buds aren’t getting denser

More intense lighting will be the most important factor to improve upon. The plant otherwise looks healthy.

Thanks for your reply. I have the VIVOSUN grow lights, and it has different levels of intensity. When it got into the 3rd week of flower I put it at 100% but I’ve taken it down to about 75% or so due to the plant getting too close to the lights and burning them a bit. I have a 5ft grow tent so I kinda have limited space.

More intense lighting will prevent the plant from getting so tall.

Which model light and how many plants are you growing?

I have the AeroLight A100 tunable spectrum LED grow lights 100W with integrated circulation fan 2x2 ft coverage.
And I’m only growing 1 plant, 5gallon DWC

100 watts is half of what many consider a minimum for a single plant. I run 400 watts above each of my plants and get results like this:

What distance are they from the lights when you do this?

I don’t pay attention to distance. I measure PPFD, which is usually around 1,100 at the plant’s canopy.

ppfd and lux are used to guide grower on his plant but you are kinda past the point with this grow. the stretched cola sets the hight and the other growth will suffer. If you can not bend that stick down you have to decide to concentrate one one stick bud or cut it level with the other points and adjust the light. a 100 watt light barley makes 950ppfd for a small area but it will flower a 2 foot square area at 50 watts per. my guess is thats about 14-16 inches.

small tent grower using 150 watt lights. mine are 150 watt versions of yours in a 2.7x2.7

How do you measure it?

So are you saying that none of the colas except for the main one will yield very much?

The main cola is always the heaviest one.

With a PPFD meter. Photone is a free app available for Android and iPhone that measures PPFD and is free. Its isn’t the most accurate, but it’s not that far off.

The reason a way to measure light is super important is that you have to get the most out of your light. If you look at the provided ppfd pattern for your light placement ( In the manual) of buds just 3 inches away from the center blaze drops a lot. I see mabee 5-6 good colas starting. You could steer the colas into a group to focus the light but only if you sacrifice the stick.
Look at the stick and it’s growth. Look at all the others and the potential growth as long as you still got some flower time. Do the others have a rail down the stem to build on I really can not see.

Where is your ph? I know this isnt a light answer but they are showing some issues. GG4 is my biatch. Spotting and browning. GG4 is a finicky strain. Should be super green right now especially in hydro.
The stretch is exactly what was said. Underpowered. GG4 hardly ever stretches to sativa heights. Longer flower will help the density if your uptake is on point. I suggest you dont amber too hard unless just wanna veg out and sleep. 11 weeks is a good median. True flower. GG4 also cures into rocks and fluffy goes away.

With 9-11 week true flower time you can get away with a gentle supercrop of main cola. You are 5 weeks in if not counting stretch. 6 weeks left to finish. No huge break when fold. Do it pretty low. All you seek is a foot so dont need to bend it horizontal. Will not matter where it sits. It will turn up. Just a suggestion to allow you to drop that light closer. It will get no taller.

I’m for supercroppping like @Storm suggests. Bend it low, lower than the other tops, and again about half way from the first bend to the top. support it with a tall bamboo stick if you need to. Try to get it down to the level of the next tops. It will turn back up. It will hurt you more than it will hurt the plant. The plant won’t even blink an eye, and love you for it in the end.

Im sorry, but could you break that down some more for me. I just want to make sure I’m on the exact same page.

So bend it to where it IS horizontal and let it grow back up is what you’re saying?
