Girl scout cookies extreme! With emerald harvest nutes!

I wanted to start a grow journal with my GSCX and the Emerald Harvest nutes i tried finding info on these nutrients with no success so i figured id post so in the future if anyone has a question about these nutes they will have a answer! I started the seeds on November 27th so they are a month old now. I had a small problem with nute burn but i have flushed completely and just started nutes again last night! I plan on flipping on January 15th so that way they are done by 4/20 for a major smoke session with my buddies.

I like it looks good , I started two GSCE couple of weeks back. I had 20 seeds so I figured I better get on with the show. Sometimes I get caught up and buy more seeds than I can plant. Good luck with your grow.

Ok so i have a question, i havent ever used a ppm meter the first two grows i was missing it. I bought the bluelab blue2221 ppm meter and it has a couple setting for the ppm one says ppm 500 then one says ppm 700 which one do i use? I tested my ppm on both settings and the ppm 700 mode was higher ppm than the ppm 500 mode. Any help would be appreciated. @dbrn32 @Drinkslinger @MattyBear

There are conversion factors that you could use any of them. Someone here has a chart, but I’m not sure who. I will try to look around some for it.

500 scale is typically standard. The only company that I know using the 700 scale is NOTGs.

I need some ideas. I will be moving to a new/bigger house this year in july, my fiancé wants to start growing with me. We have decided to just get a bigger tent and put both grows in the same tent we are thinking about a 5x5 or a 6x6 I currently have a 320w xw quantum board i know i will need more light for a tent that size i want to keep the QB I have and just add one or two more lights what would y’all recommend for a size that big? I know ill have to get another inline fan and carbon filter and another isolating fan. We want to grow 6-9 plants at once. @dbrn32 @Myfriendis410 @Drinkslinger

I use a 4’x8’ tent for flowering. I can squeeze 6 plants in there. Just for a size reference.

With r spec hlg qbs aim for 30ish watts per sq foot.

Hmm, that light doesn’t exactly jive well with others for coverage in either of those spaces. How much did you consider just having separate grows?

I have thought about it alot actually. I was think about getting a 4x4 and keeping my 3x3 and using both. My whole goal is to get a steady harvest where i dont have to buy bud ever really. Me and my fiancé smoke ALOT and i would like to have 8-10 oz available every month that way i have plenty for me and then i can start a collection of different strains so i can eventually go to the wall and pick a jar of what im in the mood to smoke that day. Any idea you have ill be 100% open too

A well setup 4x4 should get you at least a pound per harvest. If you ran a true 8 week strain would put you around 8 zips per month worth once you had it rolling. I think bogleg up close to 2 pounds per harvest in his 4x4, but varies by setup and experience.

I don’t really know there is a perfect way to do it though. I think you definitely would want some sort of perpetual grow going with your consumption. From there you have a lot of options. I think the 3x3 is great tent to feed a 4x4 too, and you already have that.

Ok so if i get a 4x4 tent i could use my 3x3 as a veg tent? And the 4x4 as a flower tent?

Absolutely. You’re not really limited to that though. You could do something like a 5x5 to flower in, and have a little more elbow room to run more of a continuous rotation. Harvest plant and move one from veg to flower as needed. 5x5 costs more to setup, but gives you more harvest potential.

Or three 3x3’s. Seems kinda janky, but 3x3’s are easy money to setup. I just don’t think two would be enough to meet your needs.

I gotcha! Now if i did the 4x4 how would i get the plants big enough to flower? 2 plants a month let the first plant veg for 1-2 months then move it to the flower tent?
