Something like that. Hard to say exactly because some plants will want to grow a little faster or slower. But I feel like planning on something like a 6 week veg is happy medium. Then you just kinda adjust as you feel space out.

Hey @dbrn32 as we were talking about before im looking to get a perpetual harvest going with either a 4x4 or a 5x5 tent im just planning now. Ive looked at the QB’s and i seen they sell everything individually and it way cheaper to build your own from the ground up. Im pretty savy on building things from the ground up i was a welder for a while. How do i go about building a QB for a 4x4 or a 5x5? Like what all supplies from HLG do i need to be looking at? Thanks in advance

If you can build from scratch you may be better off going with something other than QB’s. Samsung f-series gen3 is exact same LEDs in first gen quantum boards, but are available in a long narrow package. I’m kinda busy right now, but I could price out building with them opposed to QB’s Andrew how they compare within next few days. I would just need to know if it was a 4x4 or 5x5, and if you’d like anything particularly special?

I think ill do a 4x4 for now and then after i get this going and save up more money get a 5x5 setup and use the 4x4 as a veg tent and the 5x5 as a flower and this maybe use my 3x3 for cloneing

Quick question i have a magnesium deficiency i read epsom salt helps that so i bought some today to give them. I mixed 1 tablespoon of epsom salt and the regular nutes i got my ppm and it is 1680 which is 800 more ppm than i give them. Is this ok or do i need to lower the total ppm back down to my normal range? @Covertgrower @MattyBear @Myfriendis410

I’d try to lower the ppm back down. I’d also use Epsom salts on non feed days because they will jump up your ppms

You want the TDS to remain in range, regardless of what’s in it. Epsom does that and I try to run on water only days in soil or media. I currently don’t run it in hydro but using other products (for terpene production).

Yea i kinda figured that out lol my ppm was like 1600 with a tablespoon so I adjusted it to about a teaspoon and got 780 so i went with it. Over night the plants grew 3 inches and are already looks great

Just posting a update went and bought the emerald harvest cal mag and added it to the nites last night i had a deficiency on my right plant but not the rest. Ill be flipping on Wednesday they will be 8 weeks old on Wednesday. I really like the nutrients they are easy to use and seem to be making the plants grow way better. My stalks are already as big if not bigger than my finished big bud plants!

Flipped to flower on Monday the 20th when i get home ill post a updated picture of them they have grown so much in just a couple days! I really like the emerald harvest nutes only thing i highly suggest is make sure to have a ppm meter and to buy the calmag when you buy the whole set if you dont you will regret it cause you will need it. Other than that they are phenomenal!

Ill post a update when i get home but these girls are out of control they are growing 3-4in a day and im running out of room i guess thats a good problem to have! My question is can i trim the fan leaves up without hurting or stunting there growth? Im going on the 2nd week of 12/12 and i want to make sure that there is plenty of light penetration for the lower bud sites but i always dont want to stunt them. @dbrn32 @MattyBear @Drinkslinger

I usually do pruning at 21 and 42 days into 12/12 but I’ll take leaves here and there that are blocking bud sites or restricting airflow. I’ll wait for your pics tho
