GG4 AutoFlower Help

Hero all!

Looking for some direction on what I’m doing wrong with the GG4 auto seeds. I’ve had some banger GG4 plants with good 3-5 ounce yields. However I’ve also had some dogs that look really weak…wifey looked at the plant and said it doesn’t even look like a cannabis plant :man_facepalming:t2:.

No issues germinating as they’ve popped quick and are in Fox Farm OF, sparse watering at 6.0-6.3, Humboldt Secret (half strength) 1x per week. Environmental conditions averaging 75 degrees and rH 55-65. I’ve had 3 plants turn out like this one and not sure what I’m doing wrong.

I have her a flush a few days ago and just going to add water for two weeks or so. Anyhelp would be appreciated. Thanks!

The clawing leaves and dark color lead me to believe it is nitrogen toxicity.

Your PH is also low for being in soil. You should be shooting for 6.3-6.5 in veg and 6.5-7 in flower

It also appears the rudelius genes are probably strong in that one.

It’s not uncommon to have inconsistent results from autos.

Your plants would benefit from more direct sunlight.

My GG4 struggle too. I started one recently and it’s a runt so far. Fingers crossed, but no high hopes for it. I got 5 seeds 2 popped 1 nver did and have 2 left. The first one I grew wasn’t impressive. Just growing it now because I have the seeds. Good luck, hope they work out!

It looks like the ruderalis is strong with this one. When this happens, the flowers can become loose and look like just a bunch of calyxes, and not actual buds. It also soars you’re a little heavy on nitrogen. The dark, clawing leaves are a solid indicator

Autos are very finicky. I’d say that one is screwed. I used to grow them occasionally, but they’re more of a novelty to me than a photo. I’d say you should probably prepare to start over.
