Getting antsy for amber

I’m growing 3 autos, a Bruce Banner (left in first photo), Tangerine (right) and White Widow (not shown).

They are in week 15 (day 108) of the grow, and week 11 (day 73) of flowering.
Still very few amber, some cloudy, and lots of clear trichomes.
I didn’t know this would be such an endless process.
Is there any music I can play for them, or drugs I can feed them, to speed things up? Do they like watching bud porn? I’m going nuts here.

Patience, grasshopper.

For my next grow, what are the fastest auto strains, seed to stoned? Are any breeders working on reducing the time to finish?

Patience is key. As far as seed to stoned, good luck finding anything fast.

Some strains amber very little or late. I personally find sativa do not as much as indica. Just my observations.

For those strains, how do you decide when to chop?

Several solid ways. Old school is 70%-100% pistils brown and receding. 70-100% cloudy. As more are cloudy you get from a little racy to very good head high. Amber starts the body high. I grow for a medical circle. I typically harvest indica for us at 5-10% amber for sleep. Most sativa i bring down at 90-100% cloudy. Very good for daytime high. Hybrids i judge by which is showing most. Indica traits or sativa. A pretty good average for us will be 90-100% cloudy up to 5% amber. Just what we like. I typically run 4 or 5 different strains at a time. Depending on what you are looking for all cloudy=stoned. Amber gets towards couchlock and pain relief.

Fastbuds are nice. The Hindu Kush photo i just grew had a flower time of 8 weeks and chopped. Friggin FIRE!!! Lots of info on strains available online. I suggest photo over auto myself. Auto are not faster. They are just auto. Can flip a photo soon as mature. Same thing an auto does. Biggest difference is you flip when YOU want. Easier to recover from issues.

Good morning and hope you had a good 4th of July
I’m right with you buddy I am right with you mine are 16 weeks old this weekend and I’m waiting for Amber. I even sent out an Amber alert :rotating_light: I got nothing. Later today I will be taking new pictures again.
I have cut a few stalks I wanted to smoke my weed. Good luck

GSCE auto I chopped at almost 19 weeks. I looked at pistils and cloudish trichs. Had a couple ambers. And I mean not many lol. And I searched. I thought for sure I fudged the chop but just smoked one last night that had been drying for a week. Little rough smoking but my wife and I got baked. We were both pleasantly surprised.

Especially with longer cure time for better smoke
4-8 months wait for cure to finish, who knew?
