I’m a new grower who just recently started trying to germinate my first seed with the 72 hr cup of water method I’ve soaked my seeds in water for the full 72 hrs and just now did it crack and sprout a vet very small tail. It’s still soaking. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated as I am extremely new to this. Need to know what to do as my next move???

I soak in a shotglass for 24/48 hrs. Inspect and when the seed cracks and when she “sticks out her tounge” i put seed in a couple folds of paper towel and dampen, place on a dinner plate and cover with another plate inverted on top and watch untill the root grows from 1/4 to 1 inch and then put her in the dirt.

Me i dont like soaking my seeds i get the cotton make up removel pads i place two on a plate i spray them with water until damp then i place my seeds on the pads and i cover the seeds with another cotton pad and i spray them down until damp then i cover the plate with plastic wrap and put two small holes in the plastic wrap then put in a warm dark place with in 24 ur seeds should be popped

I add a spray of peroxide to water. Closet till tap shows. Straight to dirt.

Had a question ur advice with the paper towel method worked great within 24 hrs I was ready to plant but have researched how much to water at this stage after putting in soil and there’s so many different opinions what’s urs??? Sorry to be a pain but like I said I’m a very new grower and I’m trying yo do this the best/right way???
Girl has no roots when first planted, so it has no way to take water from soil. Put a humidity dome on and mist dome for first week. I just drip a few drops of water off my fingers in the dirt. I do this until i remove dome.(about a week). When leaves reach the dome i remove dome and then water soil as usual.

Had a question I’m growing my first plant it’s an auto flower and have been researching whether to top my plant or not do u have any suggestions on this matter??? By the way I planted seed that u gave me the advice on how to germinate and it is doing great already sprouted and doing goot
I love my little seed starter. It has four air vents you can close or open on lid and also has a light in the lid. I use the seed pods which give me a 100% germination rate. Then I plant the pod directly in soil. Sometimes I take the netting off if the roots haven’t grown through yet. I’m by no means an expert but this is my current method.
