Hey guys, noob grower here, asking some help. I just received a Vipar Spectra p2500 light as an early present. I’m freaking stoked. My issue…I been using a 100w blurple light all this time of 2 months. Would turning it up slightly over time help? Or give it the full beans once I hook it up??

Bring new light up over a week. Start 50% or so then bring her online fully after a few days. Maybe 10% at a time till 80 or 90. Just me. I fire them all the way during flower. Welcome aboard.

Check dli readings i heard they have a setting for blurples and just match or go slightly higher

Download the photone app and set it to your hours and light setting
Great tip, I had the app and didn’t use the settings correctly.
If you have plenty of room height wise, you’ll want to keep the new light further from the canopy. I’d use at least 30" and put the light at 80%. Give it a couple days and see how your girls are taking it.
