I started a grow with a simple 100w chinese burple light, then upgraded, from 100w to 250w. I am 9 weeks in with 3 healthy Og Kush bushes. Using my current light, Spectra P2500, I am to go from 18/6 to 12/12 for veg to bloom. My question is, there is a smaller dial on the light giving a green shade to it. Do I turn that all the way up? Should I have used it the moment I turned it on?? As well Can I use my blurple light as well with the bloom stage??
I did not see any other dials on that viparspectra p2500 besides the initial one to adjust light intensity. That light is good for flowering a 4ft x 2.5 ft area so it depends on tent size when asking about if that 1 light is enough coverage. Me personally id run all the lights going into flower an adjust your light intensity on each to try and achieve your DLI or PPFD/umols needs. Most in flower will run up to 1000 ppfd/umols max as thats what ypu can push before needonf to supplement co2. The photone app can come in handy here of you dont have a meter to read light intensity

I apologize for not having the picture posted with it. I was talking about this internal knob here. I will have to search in my garden closet, i was the noob, that plugged in, and didnt know how to play lol.

I am learning about this on the fly, honesty. More knowledge for the future. THats about the tent size i am working with. I’m successful so far. But learning as I go.
I think that nob is to turn the power up and down. In veg you don’t really need the light as strong so you can turn it down. And id use both lights at the same time during flower. The different spectrums will increase terpens and potency

I did some research and this is what i found.
【Sosen Driver】250W Sosen Driver helps achieve high PAR output and longer lifespan. Boost yields and save electric costs. Some of the older models you adjusted light intensity with a small screwdriver and a dial on the driver but the newer models self adjust with the dial adjustment. Some have replaced the 150w models with the HLG drivers with success should you run into issues
