This blueberry had started to flower in early November. My other same age has been done and in jars for a month but this one won’t stop. I changed lights a couple of days ago just to see if it helps. Will it stop? This plant has about to eat every last leaf it had. Still feeding bloom nutes.
I read somewhere that you can cut some of the Fox tailing calyxes off. Brb @Painfree
@Painfree Sorry about that. Daddy duties called.
Anyways, if you clip the fox tails with scissors, it should stop them. Shock them enough that they stop. This is just what I read about. The other option you have is to chop them and let them dry. I’ll tag some others in and see what they say.
@Myfriendis410 @MattyBear @Hogmaster @dbrn32
I will try to trim them tomorrow and hopefully that works. Don’t want to chop them till I see amber. Thank you @Covertgrower for the help. It’s my last of 3 bb autos one of which was planted 1 month later and finished already.
I had some major foxtailing on my pink kush autos awhile back turns out my light was to close
Clipping the foxtails is called back building. It is supposed to stop the foxtails and force the base of the buds to get thicker.
Hey I was right! But lacked the terminology… out of likes as usual @MattyBear
Matty got you set. Bogleg did it couple grows ago, was really cool to watch.
knowing what u r going thru is sad, but man them colas look impressive.!! LOL
wish they would mature for u and be that large.!
good luck, let us know how this goes.
If I can get them to stop right now it might be salvageable. I should know in a few days if any new growth pops up. I would hate to waste the huge buds
I seem to be having a similar issue with my BBA doesn’t seem to want to finish ripening.
Those are fat enough that i wouldn’t worry too much about it throwing some late pistils. If trichs hit window you’re happy with, take her down.
Close inspection shows cloudy with a few Amber when you get past the new growth. I would hate to find the bud start to rot on the inside due to all the new growth.
Buds done hanging it’s it was very fluffy buds. Not sure what happened. Had another under the same light that made dense buds. Oh well Waiting on my new QB lights so no more cheap blurples. I will just make this harvest into oil so it’s no total loss.
