Would you call this “fox tailing”?
BLueberry Auto
She’s days away from harvest, just showing the very first bit of amber on the trichomes, so I’m not looking to fix it. Just understand.
If that’s a yes, my bet is my LED was too close. Two other varieties didn’t complain though.
Can you re take the pictures, use your flash and turn off your burple light. Also get us a normal picture then a semi zoomed picture
I doesn’t look like the pics I have seen of fox tailing it looks to me like the light wasn’t intense enough and produced “airy” buds.
Wow nick looking smchmokin dude. Strain?
Link to my current grow (I tagged you again dank)
I’m not sure if it’s stress killer or lemon potion but I think it’s lemon potion… Gotta learn to not mix em up so early
Hey @Nicky if I seem scatter brained I got a lot going on I also didn’t remember you helped me alot early on.
@DankGunslinger looks to me like you Did remember.
@Patrinio There are two kinds of fox tailing . Type - Understanding Foxtailing - up in the search bar I think there was some info there about it .
@Nicky helped me alot in my first grow.
Looks like it to me. Nothing you can really do about it though.
I had some foxtail on my last harvest . You get really dense buds but I think you lose some trichome production .
Hello Patrinio. AS a beginner and have 3-4 plants that look like the good pic, will these “buds” get bigger? Can they still be used for smoking…baking…as usual?
Thanks.
Absolutely smoke them . They might get bigger . Try raising your light up higher as too much light and heat can sometimes stress them into fox tailing .
They are outside. That would explain the foxtailing: alot of sun and temperatures here in IL the last few weeks…months. Needed to water alot and just started the phosphate fertilizing.
Thanks for your help.
