Need some advice from you’all…
Do you think this is the start of fox tailing or just airy buds? Last grow I had some serious fox tailing so I backed off on my lights this grow.
When looking at it in real life it is more pronounced (3 dimensional) The photos flatten things.
Thoughts?
I’m not seeing fox tails?? They will typically be fatter than your pistils. Those pistils will turn brown and start receding, fox tails will normally be very obvious during this.

I agree, from here just looks like she wants to get fat for you. Does appear a little on leafy side, but nothing you can do about that.
Technically it is foxtailing but its healthy even foxtailing that is desirable in genetics
@dbrn32 , @GreenSnek, Thanks for the input. I grew these same three last grow. Bubblegum, AK-47 and White Widow. I ran them 12-1/2 weeks from first signs of pistils. AK and WW turned out pretty nice, bubblegum… not so much. Trics on all of them ended up about 50/50 amber/cloudy.
These are about 25 days in from pistils. I don’t know if I will run these as long as last time or not. Got some time to decide still.
Thanks @Highwayman420. I did play around with the photone app a year ago or so, and just didn’t have much luck with it. I probably need to revisit the app now that I am more educated on lighting.
At the moment I am working with a 6-channel color sensor that reads power levels centered on these wavelengths:
I am close to getting a rough calibration that I can convert to watts, lux, moles… whatever units of measure I want to work with.
It has been a great learning experience for me.
