For forever journal: I’m not a gardener. Or famous for finishing what I start

and the low temp rosin press, and the cannatrol…good lord.

I have a handful of scopes. The one I actually use is a cheap jewelers loop that cost almost nothing. I found that I need to be able to hold the bud still, hold the scope, and stay steady long enough to see what I need to see. The cheapo jewelers loop is my go to.

I had never heard of the Cannatrol but I know it now. Looks amazing. Are you telling me you have one? It looks a little big for someone like me who will be growing only three plants at a time, starting now LOL.

Do you have a rosin press too? What do you use the rosin for?

I do love my AC Infinity tent and would recommend it without hesitation, everything is high quality. Feels like Apple.

The cannatrol is def not too big. I might get a second in the future. I can dry and cure 2.2 lbs of wet bud in one cycle, which by default is 8 days. So from harvest to a perfect dry in 8 days in a perfectly controlled environment. Drying and curing is the hardest part IMO. And I wasn’t quite getting it right so I threw the wallet at it.

I dab rosin. Have a puffco peak pro for that.

I never thought about it that way but yeah there packaging and “it just works” products are very apple like. But priced waaaaay more reasonably.

If you did, you would have quite a few friends close by that could “talk” bout cannabis with ya. Several of us are from the mile high…I’m in the Denver metro area. By the way, love your icon id pic.

Here in Denver a top shelf OZ runs 150.00 and my smoke is better than the platinum series from Affinity. (Local Dispo)

LOL. I do too. Inspired by experience.

Soooo a pound of top shelf would be $2400, assuming that I’ll make some more mistakes and my loot is not that high quality I only have to produce 2 pounds to recoup my investment! That makes me feel so much better about what I’ve spent.

It’s not my goal because I just don’t have the space for it but it’s the dream for sure. I’ve learned a lot about having mother plants and it’s amazing. I don’t know why but you, can’t or shouldn’t, take clones from autos so I didn’t try. But seeing my 6 plants and how different they are from each other, I wish I could clone my two big producers.

My style is so gonna get me in trouble LOL

Yeah peat pots suck, nothing like experience to learn. I swear tons of YouTubers use them and I don’t know how they make them work.

Are you my husband??? Sounds exactly like him. I like to suffer first, then I throw the wallet at it.

You’re absolutely right. It’s totally worth investing in the different things we need.

The Cannatrol kills me. I thought I was the sh*t when I got the WeDryer XL, LOL, which seems super primitive in comparison. I didn’t know drying/curing was the hardest part! So far every step has been a small battle. So when you dry and cure a harvest, you store your loot in the Cannatrol, what happens with the stuff that’s in “storage” when you need to dry/cure another harvest?

You were right about holding the microscope steady, IMPOSSIBLE. I’m getting the jewelers loop. This is the best I could get with the microscope.

I finally transferred the plant in the tiny plastic terracotta pot into a proper 5 gallon fabric pot. Let’s see what it can do.

P.S. Don’t forget it was planted the same day as the other 5 plants. I wonder how many weeks behind them she is, it’s going to be super tricky deciding when to harvest (cause this is my first grow, remember?).

I run 3 tents. Mom tent, clone and veg tent, and flower tent. So only one harvest is flowering at a time. I have a bazillion tops on my Cinnamons that are 2 days into flower now as I spread them out under the trellis net.

My clone/veg tent used to be my dry tent. My plan for this upcoming harvest (maybe sometime in october) is to take all of the tops, buck them down, and load those buds in the cannatrol. Cycle them for 8 days in there and then empty it and move that flower to grove bags. At that point I’ll harvest any remaining bottom buds or larf, which hopefully has had time to dense up and be as good as it’s going to be. I’ll run that through the cannatrol.

You were right about holding the microscope steady, IMPOSSIBLE. I’m getting the jewelers loop. This is the best I could get with the microscope.

Try holding the scope with your pointer and thumb, and pull a bud into position with your middle and ring. Even then getting a good shot while one handing it and looking at your phone is hard. The jewelers loop lets you just get your face in there and see what’s going on.

I like your plan. So much I might do that with at least my tallest plant.

You’re not going to believe this. For the last couple of weeks, I’ve been getting really itchy after tending to my plants. And today I literally put my face in one accidentally and now my face is itchy. I washed arms and face but it takes a while before it goes away.

I’m going to try with the microscope the way you said and see what I see.

Are you running autos or photos? They look so healthy and bushy!

Have not seen that before! Break out the aloe.

Thanks! These are photos. Seeds were like 10+ years old from the Netherlands. They were planted directly in the 5 gallon pots they’re still in now. Just happy frog, worm castings, and Gaia Green amendments. All organic.

These are the best pics I could get on the microscope, any feedback? We are on day 65 (since first leaves) of 70

The plant on the left looks like it has some nice thick buds forming.
