This is my dream basement. It has outdoor access and a nice long porch. I’m salivating to make a grow room and a wood shop. I keep telling my husband how fast I could finish it.
What is a lung room? I keep seeing the term but it’s not as obvious as you’d think for newbs.

A lung room is just the room that feeds air to your grow area. I grow in tents in my basement, and so my basement is my lung room. If your lung room is consistent temp and humidity, then dialing in your grow space becomes much easier because you can use your inline fans to cool or warm your grow space. Add an AC infinity controller 69 pro or two and it becomes trivial.
Where I am it’s pretty expensive too for a basic 3 bed 2 bath, no basement, on a tiny lot. Colorado seems like an amazing deal for the square feet on brand new builds. I don’t even have my own driveway, I share it with my next door neighbor. It’s really lame.

Eventually SoDak will go legal with recreational, so we are pricing everything out for a grow license (and land) and a dispensary license and store front. Have two possible partners that are SoDak residents. If like medical, they will require a 1 year residency to submit an application. Pretty much you buy land and rent a storefront and wait a year or longer.
LOL. You have a five plant limit. I’ve 6 plants and a 0 limit! I’m definitely in trouble already. But if I had that basement I would be in Netflix documentary trouble.
I don’t want to sell or trade. And I’m too greedy to share. So why do I want as many plants as possible? That’s one of the things that kills me in this forum, so many people share their loot. I don’t even like dining family style LOL. I opt out of that so fast, I don’t share food well either. I must’ve skipped kindergarten.
As soon as I finish this grow I’m going to stay at the 3 plant tent limit.
I germinated 6 seeds like a crazy person. I thought some might not take and I didn’t want to wait to start. Didn’t even stop to think of the ILGM guarantee.

I used to make one of a kinds of something or other and sell them. Each took so much work and love I kept raising the price to motivate myself until one day I just couldn’t do it anymore, not even for a pretty good price. I don’t think I’d ever want to grow for money. The stress on my mind and body would require me to charge an exorbitant amount for “my” shit.
No prob! My very first grow was 5 GDP autos in my 4X4. I underestimated the plant significantly. One of the things I do enjoy above all else is giving away tons of herb. Friends or family that visit leave with an ounce. It’s only illegal here if you sell because the state does not welcome tax free competition.
My goal in this endeavor is to hunt and hunt and hunt until I find two moms worth taking up two plants in my count. And then just turn out three plants from them at a time over and over.

I want to say that it’s the crazy pain and insomnia I deal with on a daily basis that makes me not want to share but I’m pretty jealous of my space, my woodworking tools, my other tools. Pretty much everything that’s mine is mineeeee.
I’ve a pretty virgin body, never smoked tobacco or weed. Never learned how despite many tries. Just like I never learned to swim despite taking classes several times. I don’t drink alcohol, I don’t have a taste for it. What I have tried is a shit ton of prescription drugs, they’re not great. Then some edibles made their way to me via a relative because I have Narc face, nobody would ever sell to me. Edibles are my holy grail. I’m leaning towards an MCT oil tincture or MCT oil gummies (the gummies seem like too much work). I wonder if three tent plants will be enough to keep me constantly supplied.
I was really excited about planting a few plants and deciding which one is the mother and from then on just taking clones from it but I just don’t have the space for all of that. One day maybe.
I’m not going to hold you to it but can you guess how much I’ll end up harvesting out of my 5 strong plants? I was thinking maybe I’d get 2-3oz per plant but that might be bananas.

How much did you harvest from those 5 plants?
So I bought 10 seeds of White Widow and got 10 free. I did the same with Grandaddy Purple, bought 10 and got 10 free. So I had a total of 40 seeds.
I’ve used 6 seeds, 3 seeds of each. Now I have a total of 34 seeds left.
After I finish this grow, my first, I will only be growing 3 plants at a time.
34 seeds divided by 3 means I have 11 grows to look forward to, each grow will take at least 10 weeks. That means I have enough seeds to keep me busy for the next 110 weeks; that’s 2 years and 6 weeks.
All this is assuming all seeds germinate and successfully grow to harvest.
This reminds me so much of word math problems from elementary school, if Pillar has 34 seeds and she wants to grow them all … LOL
Overall about 2.5lbs not counting trim/smallbud/larf. Annd I didn’t like any of it. Love GDP, but none of the phenos out of the 5 I grew were my jam. Lots of pinesol smell and flavor, which some people love but meh… Gave it all the bud away and processed the rest into butter/mct/RSO.

That’s a commitment. I did a lot of the bogo buys as well, and hunted through a lot of it, but still have a considerable seedbank. I have two Mac n Jack moms I bought as clones of known good moms. Next hunt might be ocean fruit from square one genetics. I’ll hunt that until I find some kushy fruit. With a 5 plant limit and eventually letting one of those mac n jack moms flower out I can really only hunt 4 at a time so that could take awhile unless I hit genetic Yahtzee.
These are 4 cinnamons from femaleseeds.nl (from like 15 years ago) A buddy was holding these beans for all these years and gave them to me to run. They’re on their third topping and I’m going to grab clones from each in case I actually want to keep any. Researching the genetics its pure Sativa, which I’m not really looking for, but who knows. This stuffs been off the map for over a decade. There’s crosses with the name cinnamon this or that but don’t know if they come from this. (yeah i might be a plant over limit. Happens

This is one of those hobbys where spending money makes money so to speak. I bought a levo2 to do my MCT infusions for me. Takes all the mystery out of it. These days everything goes to RSO, which is honestly just as easy. My mom requires a nightly dose (taken by my RSO fudge) that would basically render me non functional for at least two days.
