Flowering Questions from First Time Grower

I am a first time grower in north central Ohio. I have 6 photos and 3 autos for my first grow. The autos much smaller plants in pics have all started flowering and so did my Gold Leaf in photo. My other photo might b in early flower, only 2 have pistols. Can u tell which week of flower? Has anyone else in central Ohio gone into flower?

Can’t really tell how long in flower maybe two weeks on photo. Autos will take 10-14 weeks from seedlings to harvest time, they finish quick. I always wait until pistils turn in and become golden brown in color and start watching my Trichomes. Once they are milky and no longer clear your in the window of harvest. 10-15% in amber color on Trichomes I chop. Next grow I’m doing 50/50

Thank you!!

Greetings
I grow autos and typically a cycle will take 90-100 days from seed depending on strain (and other variable factors). As @John7 has already said, I also watch for pistils to turn red/orange and curl inward before even considering time til harvest. At said point start watching trichomes.

Get yourself one of these. About $25. Great for viewing Trichomes. Get the one with Wi-Fi and if your unsteady get a microphone stand to hold it

Was using a jeweler’s loop but was looking for one of these I could afford!! Thanks @John7!!

Yours looks much the same as mine. I am in south western WV. Figure our weather/climate is much the same. Yours are looking grand!

Stand helps reduce hand shake, but requires cutting pieces for viewing.
Coin viewer more versatile.
Battery & memory (available).
I like them both, USB and Coin viewer.
addicted to bud porn, I am.

Looking good man!!

I am growing a gold leaf photoperiod Right now, myself in week five now. Outdoor grow in Central Florida no flowering yet not sure if it’s considered pre-flower but I am getting white pistols coming out of the nodes? Your plants look good

Sorry man just saw this, yes I would consider the pistols coming through is considered pre-flower/flower. I Googled it to try and see what weeks my plants are in. Never done this before so trying to figure it out as well. But I just try to find examples of weeks. You can see gold leaf flowering by week on the ILGM website

I’m in MN and my Gold Leaf photo started showing in the last few days of July.
It’s in a 10gal pot and pushing 7ft:

Yeah this is my first grow and so far I’m pleasantly surprised. I didn’t really expect them to get that big
I planted the germinated seeds for the Gold Leaf and the Blue Dream to the left of it on 4/20 and they sprouted on Earth Day :sunglasses:
They were in 4" square x 6" tall starter pots with Happy Frog under a fluorescent light 18hrs/6hrs until the first week of June. By then they were way overgrown for those pots (esp. the Gold Leaf…)
Then I transplanted them outside into the 10gal pots with a 50/50 mix of Happy Frog and Ocean Forest and some extra perlite.
All I gave them from April-July was ph’d water and regular doses of Recharge. In July I started them on the Bergman’s Fertilizer. This week was the 2nd feeding of the Flowertime fertilizer.
The Blue Dream is a little behind, just starting to flower.
The short plant in front there is a Northern Lights auto in a 7gal that started flowering about 2 weeks ago and is looking great so far.
Next year I want to try at least 2 photo plants in 25gal pots. Maybe 2-25s and 2-10s (our limit is 4 mature plants) Mine are doing well in the 10gal, but seem like they could totally go bonkers in 25gal.
