A little help knowing how far along these are?

Hey Friends

My WWAF I think have been flowering almost three weeks but honestly I’m not 100% sure - can anyone give a guesstimate based on pics how much longer they have?

Thank you SO much!

I don’t see any pistils changing color. Would say you are a ways out still. Can’t see any trichs on the picture (bad eyes) but it looks pretty healthy.

@TxGrowman thank you, sir, I’m trying not to screw this first grow up :/). I like a happy, heady body high so I have read I should harvest on the early side ;/)

I’m a first time grower myself. Currently have two Northern lights autos going, two weeks old yesterday.

Autos tend to be very inconsistent in there life cycle. Generally you can not count on the time frame listed on the site where you buy the seeds, it’s simply unreliable. This site said seeds take 7-8 weeks to flower, then another 56 days to harvest for the seeds I bought, while other sites say seeds flower in 2-3 weeks with harvest in 2-3 months or less. Other friends have been growing auto for a couple years now too, and they never have consistent grow schedules. Sometimes autos take just as long as regular photo plants. Your best bet is to keep a close eye on them, and look for the change of color in trichome from clear to amber. Once you get a nice amber, she is ready to harvest.

 thank you @Timothy. These plants are about 81 days from seed. I think 3 weeks flowering but IMHO they had started before I realized, being a newb, I’m thinking maybe 3 more weeks???

Yes @Sl1, I’d say your about 3, maybe 4 weeks out but that’s just a guess, I’m no expert lol. Again, just keep a close eye on them. If you don’t have one already, get yourself a good magnifying glass so you can really watch the trichomes. Once you start to flower, they will really take off. If you miss your mark, your potency will start to degrade quickly.

Thank you, my friend! :seedling::smile::peace_symbol::sunglasses:

When those leaves all but disappear into the buds and hairs and the hairs curl back in. That’s what we are goin for. :grinning:

If you look thru the guides section Robert has a harvesting guide in there.

Looks great.

@Sl1 you are probably 7-8 weeks from harvest at this point

I would have to agree with @Majiktoker on this one… your plants are still very young into flower still , but very beautiful…

Thanks Guys – if you don’t mind answering another question, should I ease back on the flowering phase nutrients?

It’s 1% soluble potash…started yesterday, plants are going nuts tonight, tent was up to 80% humidity at one point ( watered 24 hrs ago), condensation on walls of tent…crazy. This would be way more fun outdoors ;-)…

Should I hold off on feeding that until a later phase?

Thanks again.

No the sooner the better in flower as long as its not a whole lot until later phases

I tend to agree with @Sl1 on that statement

Thank you, Majik

My pleasure @Sl1

Guess I need a plan for my 2 Gold Leafs that will be ready to switch to flower maybe 1-2 weeks ahead of this harvest … seeing the value in a secondary veg area!
