Just a sound grow off. Using audio to compare plant growth and schtuff. And ya dude, the tent sitch isn’t too bad. It’ll all work out. Hope you’re well man and things are better outside the spider mites.
Honestly bud, it’s one of the only complaints I could dig up in this life. Things are good!
I hope the same for you and yours.
Creeping up on 2 weeks. Not looking too shabby. Nice symmetry…
On another note, I got sent to the occupational clinic with 45 minutes left at work today. About 5 minutes away from crashing out at work. The heat aint no joke. Couldn’t even sit up for nearly a half hour. Mad props to the dudes in my department for helping. Anyways. The weekend just turned into a 4 day, so I guess that’s a plus. Too bad my benefits don’t kick in until Monday so they aren’t paid. Oh well.
Stay Lit! And hydrated. Fxxxin seriously.
Oh man, at least you recognized it. Something that’s helped me is a fan that clips on my belt and blows up my shirt. I don’t know how people are roofing in this. Them boys built different
The heat exhaustion is real. Once you get it you become more susceptible to it. Stay hydrated the night before. Its been really hot thos summer.
No kidding, we were talking about roofers today. Entirely different breed. Any outside work will getcha, but hats off to roofers. It felt like a miracle when the guys walked in and saw me on the floor in a huge puddle of sweat talking gibberish.
Man out there in the sticks where you are is different heat. Out here in the open it hits you from start to finish, but up there being in the trees your brain tricks you to thinking you’re in cool shade
I don’t know about you but I would rather be climbing trees than roofs.
Without a doubt. A few summers ago I roofed a shed that I built and the soles of my shoes melted to the shingles. My shoes have never melted to a tree.
I use to lay asphalt couldn’t do that shizz any more melted a couple pair of boots ![]()

Take it easy @Borderryan22 gota take breaks often in this heat
I haven’t melted any shoes yet. My dept mows parks and ballfields. If we ever do actually hit shady spots, it’s so effin humid, the sweat leeches right out. What’s wild is I’m one of the smaller guys, but I sweat profusely. We’re in the peak of summer pretty much, though, so hopefully we get a break real soon.
@Crazy81 the sxxx part of taking breaks is our boss gets fxxxin anxiety seeing us at the truck if she drives around. She also likes to throw extra fields at us at the end of the day so we have to rush. She does that sxxx next week, I’m at HR office. My inlaws have been friends with the mayor and his wife for decades and it’s not a freakin card I want to pull. We told my boss last Friday if she keeps adding stuff at the end of the day, somebody will get hurt. Well, winner winner, I was the lucky one. I could go waaaaaaay longer on the way things get run, but hey, I’m hourly, and leave at 4 o’clock regardless.
Looking good at 2 weeks my friend. Have you ever tried Liquid IV…WORKS AMAZING… Keep a few packs of them on hand. Great for hydration, my heart doc says it’s great to keep from dehydration and heat stress/exhaustion.
Thanks @TigerLilly
Yes, I’ve done most of the “such and such” super electrolyte packs. Steady rotate Gatorade and water. It just got so bad, so quick. It was right right at peak temps. They do have some that is made for heavy sweaters so my wife ordered it last night. Can’t remember the name. And some better frog towels than we have at work. Lol, I was so freaking out of it and weak, I called her because I couldn’t go get anybody and she ran in the shop like a boss.
Scary stuff dude. My hubby is a heavy sweater and does liquid IV. And says it’s the best! Coconut water is another way to be hydrated very quickly.
Cleared to go back Monday. I also got my cannabis prescriber to write a note saying I am able to perform any and all work related functions while prescribed cannabis, as long as it isn’t taken before work. Mowing all day isn’t exactly my idea of a fun time while on edibles anyways. So, my promotion should be all set to go into effect Monday also. Gonna go next weekend to try and get myself a new truck.
Also dropping 3 GSCE for the sound grow off tomorrow morning.
Stay Lit!!!
Planted 3 little GSCE babies last night!!!
I also put the older GSCE outside on the back porch. Gonna let her hang out there for a couple sun up/downs before putting her fully in the yard. She’s been in the fairly warm garage, but out under the sun is a little different.
Have a good DeuceDay!! Stay Lit!
Notes for grow off…
Changed approach. New work hours, so ya. No control subject(s), all will be exposed to sound/music. Starting with soft 432hz tones. Will switch to 963 during late veg and flower.
Here they are this morning at about 4½ days old…
Also about to give the other GSCE I moved outside her first big gulp of Jacks. Didn’t snap a pic, but she’s about a foot tall, nubs for branches and spindly from chasing the sun lol.
Stay LIT!!!
