Need to mix a batch, but don’t wanna. Need to rotate and dump runoff trays and bucket. But don’t wanna. Need to get outside girls into forever homes, but I just reeeeeally don’t wanna. Call me Bruno Mars cuz “today I don’t feel like doin anything.”
I’ll get to the feeding/dumping stuff shortly. Outside girls may stay where they’re at for another day or two.
Brace yourselves for the massive heatwave coming everybody. Phx is looking at 114°. My area is looking at possible +100°, as well.
Between pests, torrential storms, and now an intense heat wave working up, I’m considering going down to 1 outside plant, and possibly putting it in the ground. The bags get hot as Hades in the sun and cook the roots. I have a spot, but the only thing is, I need to be able to move it/them around just as precaution.
Ugh. In one of those “can’t win for losing” moods today. Here’s some early bud porn from Widow’s Breath. Y’all Stay Lit…
@dbrn32 Are/were you running Jacks at 4/2? Sorry, if I’m mistaken. Got a little nitrogen issue going on and wondering if I should just back off Part B by a couple points. TIA!
Wooord. I figured as much. I’ve been at 4/2 for like a year, but this is the first real clawing I’ve had with it. I’ll tone it back. Thanks for the reply!
Thanks @Twelve1 ! I didn’t expect her to get quite that tall. I flipped when she was well under a foot, and now she’s at 3 and still going even with full flowers!
So I still only measured 800ppm (@6.01pH), but, BUT!, I changed up the mix. I went with, per gallon…
4.5ml TPS Silica Gold
4.5g Part A
1.8g Part B
Cut as much as 40% on Part B, and about 25% off Part A
I have yet to introduce the FF Dry Boosters this grow, and quite frankly, ai don’t think I will. Widow’s Breath is showing off without them, and the autos are starting to get a little frosty, as well.
I will say that they are a couple of the slowest autos I’ve grown lmao. Nothing wrong with that. I’m just surprised at how fat and chunky the WB photo is already compared to a couple autos next to her. Usually the autos look a week or two ahead, and finish the same way. @LiesGrows the Grassman OG Auto has calyxes at the stems that are actually throwing flowers lol. Not just fat calyxes. They are opening and making flowers. Thought it was really cool…
And I’m thinking if a final trim on the WB here in about a week. Couple lower branches not quite up to speed, some long purple-stem fans. Hopefully that’ll square her up to pull a cutie or 5.0.
I thought it was pretty wild. She’s lookin a little strong with the ruderalis, but throwing lots of trichs now, also. I can’t tell the smell yet, because the Widow’s Breath is suuuuuper strong lol. I’m having to walk out of the room to smell my hands to find out what is what lol
Guess my organic mix is doing ok. Mind the bend on the taller. It’s been chasing light all morning and it’s been cloudy and rainy lol. Gonna plop them in the big garden in a few days. I think i planted them directly just over a week ago…
I got a strong feeling I’m going to have to flood out the WB in a day or 2. Been feeding her 3-4x a day, until this morning.
I woke up at midnight and a Chestburster somehow lodged in my stomach, so I was trying to puke it out for 12hrs. If you don’t get that, it was an Alien ref. Felt like opioid withdrawal I was hurtin so bad. Woke up an hour ago, feelin a jousand (sons made up number) times better. Zero energy, but zero aliens.
To the potential flush, after waking a little while ago, I only went and dumped the last gallon of yesterdays mix on the WB and autos. Didn’t even check numbers. The WB was already clawing the last few days, so I don’t know what today will do.
I guess I’ll just mix tomorrow morning as close to 1,000ppm, 6.0pH, and try to back way off (like 1.5g/gallon) on Part B.
Here they are!
Autos…
I think the first pic is the Grassman OG lol. It is, it is the Grassman OG…
