It was really easy to use and the instruction manual is so detailed. I usually throw away my trim, but I’m glad I found out it can be used for something!

Check it out, I love my tincture
This is something I been doing lately and it’s awesome .

I put drops of tincture on soft candy like peppermints, has to be the soft ones like these.

I put a drop and let the alcohol evaporate then add another. Flipping it over and doing both sides, I do this untill they are as strong as i want.

It sokes in and the alcohol evaporates leaving the thc behind

This is what you’re left with.
Mine are pretty strong sometimes and theres little to no taste of the concentrate …

I read that tincture is supposed to be green, but no matter how many times I strain it it’s still light / dark brown. Is that normal?

My green dragon has turned into the black dragon I think uts the evaporation process

All of my tinctures end up amber in color after my filtering process
Gold, green and amber are the usual colors for tinctures with all the plant material filtered out
Some can be muddled and even grey

As you reduce the tincture it will become darker

Looks just like mine lol. I use the Magic Butter Machine and I can’t seem to get it green

That looks real good! I wonder why I can’t a lighter color in mine

I do cold ethanol extraction and filter through a paper lined stainless steel coffee filter in a ceramic coffee dripper

Then I use celite 545 and carbonX to filter the chlorophyll and waxes/lipids

The carbonX is real expensive now
I got 100g for $147 when they were starting out
That amount might run a $1000
You can recover and clean it for reuse so i lucked out
Still have around 50g left and i will recover it from now on

Dont use my MBM anymore as the ethanol extraction allows me to process a half gram or hundreds of grams and then choose my carrier
Coconut oil or simple syrup

Mine is never green.
Its always golden to brown, I imagine if you made some from fresh cut bud it would.

The longer it sokes the darker it gets from my experience, a 15min or so soak gives you a golden color and the longer the darker it gets.
