Do i need to add anything to my soil to control bugs? I watched a couple videos and they added something on top of soil to control bugs. I didnt catch the name of what they were using i will go back and see.
I’ve used a layer of diatomaceous earth (DE) on top of my soil on my first grow. You can use this as a preventative measure just make sure it’s food grade.
If you want low cost and you have an extra closet,you can buy mylar and wrap walls and even get a big box…fridge washer…My total cost was below $100 including light. YGROW 600 W…you can find fans cheap and timer…garage sales etc. Then if you want to go bigger you can…also just got superthrive and anxious to try it. Good luck on any level.
