When should I top these. And what nutes do you recommend. Sitting in fox farm happy frog and ocean forest. Yes I know the pots are big for the size. Just transplanted out of red solo cups. Only nutes they have been given is happy frog jump start when I transplanted. Watered with rain water. Adjusted the ph of the water to right around 5.5-6
Soil likes Ph around 6.8, coco is ideal at 5.8. 5.5 is too low for soil. Somebody will give the exacts, and reply on the nutes. Im coco and jacks nutes.
Plants are doing and looking very good so far, looking hungry though.
Any idea on a timeframe for topping or a size they should reach before topping. I know between the 5th and 7th node but my plants seem to be a little shorter than normal topping height and they are already at the 5th node. Don’t want to cut the top node off and kill the plant off. Had a bad experience a couple weeks ago with a clone that almost went because of a bad topping. She’s almost fully recovered. I’ll post pics of that
Are you outdoors full time. Lots of great outdoor peeps. @HippieRunner1 runs an Oregon grow, great bunch follow him. Will tag you there if you like.
Outdoor full time.
Welcome to the forum! Plenty of great people and knowledge here. I try to ph my water to 6.3-6.8. My soil ph tends to stay around 6-6.5 with that. The girl looks a bit hungry in the first pics imo. No pro here just sharing what i have read and learned so far. Best of luck to ya ![]()
